Enough with the jibber jabber; if you're interested in learning all about my non beauty favorites for August,  then just keep reading!

BODY/SKIN CARE

  • Bath & Body Works "Cool Amazon Rain" fragrance mist (retails $14.50)

I never thought I would love another fragrance as much as Amber Blush from B&BW; enter in this bottle of goodness!! With notes of Amazon rain, Brazilian star fruit & frangipani, you will feel like a majestic princess when you wear it!! From what I see, the spray is no longer available, but the body lotion still is, so if you want to try this scent out for yourself, you'll likely have to order online or possibly catch it during the semi annual sale.
  • Bath & Body Works "Aloha Waterfall Orchid" travel fragrance mist (retails $6.00)

If I wasn't wearing Cool Amazon Rain, I was rocking this bad boy! Describes as having notes of a beautiful blend of dewy orchid, lush rainwater & Polynesian gardenia, this was like a shower and a vacation mixed together! I felt so girly and dainty when I wore this, plus I got tons of compliments!! Like the previous scent I mentioned, , the spray is no longer available, but the body lotion still is, so if you want to try this out for yourself,  check online or during the semi annual sale for it!
  • Bath & Body Works "Aloha Waterfall Orchid" body lotion (retails $12.50)

The lotion is a bit more intense than the spray, but layer it together for a slice of tropical heaven!!
  • First Aid Beauty Coconut Skin Smoothie Priming Moisturizer (retails $28.00)

To me, this was like the Too Faced Hangover primer , but a tad thicker. This did a great job of hydrating my skin and allowing for a nice base for my makeup to stick to (if i chose to wear any that day). This is also a few dollars cheaper, so if you wanted to save a little coin, go for this!!

HAIR CARE

  • Evolve Flow Thru Detangler brush (retails $2.99)

Now, I love my Curlpro detangling brush to death, but this is a nice cheaper alternative! I found this randomly at Burlington's, and I've been digging it!! Like my Curlpro brush, it breaks my tangles up without too much issue. I've been trying to use my fingers a lot more lately, but sometimes, I need just a little extra help to get all the tangles out, this has been coming through for ya girl!  I will say, that I have to use smaller sections  when I use this brush.
  • Luster Pink Apricot Oil (retails $2.99)
Something I've been really into recently is finding great oils to use on my coils, and this one really blew me away! I remember the oil moisturizer cream I used on my relaxed hair back in the day and how well that worked, so I was intrigued by how well this oil would do on me. It leaves my hair softened and smelling good, which I appreciate!!
  • Shea Moisture 1o-in-1 Renewal System Conditioner (retails $11.99)

This is a great all around conditioner from Shea Moisture!! I use this as a detangler, a rinse out conditioner and a leave in and it works well all three ways! My favorite way to use it is as a leave in (it's thick enough to hydrate and keep my hair moisturized for longer stretches of time, but watery enough to spread and coat my hair).

Review: Nubian Heritage African Black Soap

Hello, all! Happy new year to everyone!! I came on to give my review on the second out of the three soaps I received from Nubian Heritage---the African Black Soap. Price: $4.99 on NH website and at the Vitamin Shoppe (5 oz size) Specs: This soap claims to be  acne-fighting,  detoxifying and healing.  Also, it was designed for people with   combination, oily, sensitive, and problem skin  , however it has been said that people with ALL skin types can use this as well :) but, back to the specs. Like I mentioned on my review on the Shea Butter soap , on the container is a brief history about how Nubian Heritage got its start and the ayurvedic properties about the key ingredients--which for this product line is shea butter, oats, aloe, palm ash, plaintain peel, tamarind extract and vitamin E. Palm Ash, Tamarind & Plantain Peel--soothing properties ; minimizes the appearance of superficial skin imperfections Oats--brightens and evens skin tone ...

November Favorites

Hello, my loves! Welcome back & if you're new here, welcome! I can't believe that I'm here with my November beauty favorites!! Like the year is legit almost  done. 31 days left before 2018 makes its grand entry. I do have quite a bit this month, so if you're interested in learning all about my  favorites for November,  then just keep reading! SKIN/BODYCARE Eco Tools Konjac Cleansing Sponge : so great for helping spread my cleanser more evenly on my face versus using my hands or a rag! I've also noticed that it has helped my skin be a lot smoother, too! Shea Moisture Superfruit Complex Body Lotion : such a thick, hydrating lotion !! Only thing though is I would change the packaging--maybe opt for a jar instead of a bottle because it's thicker that a traditional lotion, but thinner than a body butter. Nip & Fab Kale Fix Protecting Shot : my skin has been more balanced lately since incorporating this oil!! Since it's colder, my skin tends t...

Hola, beautiful ones!! Welcome back & if you're new here, welcome! Once again, we've reached the end on yet another month, which means monthly favorites! Guys, we're officially 2/3 through 2018!! Nonetheless, I have some really good stuff that I've been loving, so if you guys wanna know about my favorites for August, then just keep on  reading! Makeup Colourpop Element of Surprise palette : this is probably one of the most unique palettes I own! When I first saw it, I had no interest in picking it up, but when I saw it in Ulta & swatched the shade Rayon, (metallic dark coral with blue-green duochrome) I fell in love!! I never thought I'd love this palette, but I'm pleasantly surprised! Colourpop x KathleenLights Dream St. Palette :  another great option for a few pops of color + neutral shades! Unlike the Element of Surprise, this one is more a warm toned color scheme .  Also, I...
