March Favorites

Hello, beauties! Welcome back & if you're new here, welcome! March has once again come and gone so fast! Aside from celebrating my 26th birthday (crazy that I'm 26 now!!), I've found some bomb products this month that I'm excited to share!   So, if you're interested in learning all about my March favorites, then just keep reading! Formula 10.0.6 Pores Be Pure Skin Clarifying Mud Mask : last month, I talked about the Boscia Charcoal Pore Pudding that I love, but that can be a bit harsh on my skin. So, I found this one within my collection and I adore this just as much! It performs similarly to the Boscia mask, except it's a tad milder. I still feel it cleaning out my pores, but the sensation is not as strong. Plus, you can smell the strawberry extract in it!  ELF Pore Refining Brush & Mask Tool : mask application has never been so easy until this came in my life! I don't have to worry about placing extra germs from my hands on my face or wasting ...

Beauty Supply 5: Primers

Welcome back and if you're new around these parts, I welcome you! Today is going to be another installment in my Beauty Supply 5 series! If you've missed any of my previous posts in this series,  click right here to catch up !!  As you see by the title,  today  is all about primers! No matter what foundation, concealer, cream or powder products you use, a good primer is essential for flawless, long lasting results!! Wheter your skin is Sahara desert dry or Crisco oily, I have options for everyone!  So, if you guys are interested in my primer suggestions, then keep on reading! L'Oreal Magic Perfecting Base Face Primer:   this is a great all in one primer! It fills in your pores, mattifies & helps your makeup stick for a longer period of time! My biggest gripe with it, though, is the packaging. Jar primers are just so inconvenient because they can get stuck under your nails, so I suggest you use a brush to apply it. Also, you only get 0.5 oz instead of ...

$100 in Ulta vs. $100 in Sephora

Welcome back & if you're new here, welcome! So, I had seen a recent video from the Glamtwinz about a beginner friendly guide on spending $100 in Sephora & I thought that was really cool! So, I decided to put a different twist on it and compare what you could get spending $100 in Sephora vs. $100 in Ulta! I've shopped at both places enough to really figure out how far my money can actually go in both stores!!    Also, it's really easy to get overwhelmed with all the different brands and products, so hopefully this can serve as a template of sorts for ya'll !   So, if you wanna see how far $100 can go far  Sephora vs U lta,  then just keep reading! * For this post, I'm strictly focused on makeup because skincare and haircare in Sephora is pretty darn pricey, and Ulta has both high end and drugstore versions  of both, so I wanted to make the playing field a little more even! $1oo in SEP...

February Favorites

Hello, my loves! Welcome back & if you're new here, welcome! It's favorites time once more!! February goes so fast every year, but I'm excited because that means March is here (which means my birthday's coming close).  So if you want to know my favorites for the month of February,  then just keep reading! HAIR Carol's Daughter Mimosa Hair Honey : awesome sealer that gives my coils a crazy bit of shine! I've been reaching for this for the last 7-8 wash days, as well as throughout these weeks  to soothe dry scalp or take down my twists and braids! It looks like it'd be a heavy grease, but surprisingly, it's really light and spreads smoothly!  SKIN Olay Regenerist Micro Sculpting Serum : as stated in previous posts, I've been trying to do better with my skin care since entering my 20s. One of the standout products I used was the  Youth Code Texture Perfector serum from L'oreal. But since that one is discontinued, I've been looking ...
