Hello, my loves! Welcome back & if you're new here, welcome! It's that time of the month again---favorites time! It's crazy that August has come and gone!! I remember when it was the first week of January, now it's September!! But, I decided to do things a little differently this time; I broke my favorites up into two parts. So this one is all about my beauty favorites & I 'll also have a non beauty favorites after (which is skin/body care, hair care and miscellaneous) . I'll probably be switching up the format of my favorites each month , depending on how much I have. So if you're interested in learning all about my beauty favorites for August, then just keep reading!

The drugstore, for a long time, didn't have a lot of great quality eyeshadows with the exception of some of the Wet n Wild palettes. But when I was going through my collection of palettes, I ran across these two palettes from Black Radiance that I had never opened, so I decided to put them in my beauty basket to determine if they stayed or went. I'm so mad that I didn't use these sooner!! They offer the perfect amount of pigmentation , color selections and finishes for an affordable price!! The "Deeper the Berry " palette gives a nice array of neutrals and a few pops of purple, while "Urban Jungle" is a more vibrant version of the WNW Comfort Zone palette .

Why have I not talked about this yet??? Honestly, I've been using this one and off for the past year and it is SO AMAZING!!! It does a bomb job at mattifying my skin and helping my face makeup not to break down around my nose so quickly. If you're combo/oily or straight up oily, you'd love this!!

If you like the Expert Face Brush from RT, you'll love this!! This performs very similar to that brush, but the exception is that it's angled and is slightly wider! So, I find myself getting done with my foundation a bit quicker, which I totally appreciate!!

I didn't think I would ever love a contouring kit as much as I love my Black Radiance one, but this is giving that one a little run for the money!! I've used every shade in this palette, but the two that have stolen my heart are the two deepest bronzers, Golden and Goddess. "Golden" gives off a very natural warmth, while "Goddess" does an amazing job at naturally defining the face. Often, I mix the two and they're just perfect together! I really wish that Ulta would just sell the shades in this palette individually because I can't get enough of those two!!

This has to be one of the best black eyeliners I've used!! I't s not too dry that it tugs on my eye, but not too creamy that it smudges everywhere! I have very watery eyes in the summer (stupid seasonal allergies), and this has lasted me ALL DAY LONG!! I'm so sad that NYC is no longer being carried in the States, but I believe you can still find this at Kmart as well as the NYC website.

I've been refalling in love with this blush palette again!! You guys know how much I adore the dark one, but the light one is just as amazing for people of color!! They're pigmented but not overly pigmented to the point where they can't be built up or blended out . My favorite shades are between the neutral orange and the watermelon pink. They both give a nice flush of color to my skin the best! I love the other two pinks, as well, but I usually mix them together. Either way, the blush palettes from Elf are some of the best on the market!!

I just recently mentioned this in my BS5 post about highlighters and it totally deserves to be ! It took me SO LONG to try this highlighter out because when it released, it was always sold out! But on a trip to Ulta a few weeks back, there was one left so I finally decided to pick it up after countless raves and positive reviews about it. This has to be one of the best "lit from within" highlighters I own!! To me, it's very similar to the Elf baked highlighter in Blush Gems, but just a smoother texture & more of a true champagne color (Blush Gems is more of a champagne bronze). Plus, it lasted on my combo/oily skin all day long!!

Ever since I ran out of my NYX HD concealer, this has been my go to!! No matter what other concealers I've tried out the last several months, I always go back to this one!! It's the perfect color and consistency, and it blends out so beautifully!! I just cannot get enough of this concealer!!
Hopefully you've found some good products within this list to try out for yourselves! Let me know some of your beauty favorites or not so favorites from the month of August! Thanks for reading, and like always, Stay Beautiful!
- ABH Cream Contour Kit--"Deep" (retails $40.00)

I've been digging this palette all month long! I've been going ham with the "Coral" shade for color correcting , as well as the "Chocolate" and "Espresso" shades for a mock foundation when I don't feel like fooling with standard liquid foundation. These creams are a bit of the dry side, so I usually have to add an oil and mix it so it can spread easier , but surprisingly, they don't feel super thick or heavy on the skin!!
- City Color Figtastic palette (retails $5.00)
The berry tones this palette gives off is stunning!! Though the shadows swatch onto the skin a little wonky, but when applied to the eyes, they are the bomb!! They're pretty vibrant and pigmented!!
