2 Palettes , 1 Month Challenge

Hello, all! It's CHALLENGE time!!! I was going through my makeup collection and realized I've got a whole lot----a WHOLE lot---of things I haven't used, mainly eyeshadow palettes So after browsing the Instagram for a bit, I ran across the 2 Palettes, 1 Month challenge which is just that---you choose ANY 2 palettes of your choice and those are the only shadows you can reach for when you choose to wear makeup. Now since January is more that halfway over, I'm deciding to do mine for both the remainder of January and all of February. These are the two palettes I'm choosing to use:

  • Coastal Scents Revealed -- I do enjoy the color payoff I get from this palette and the large range of neutral colors. You can go from matte to shimmer, day to night with no real difficulty. This palette is said to be a dupe for both the Naked 1 & 2 palettes from Urban Decay, and I believe it holds true to that!! So if you've been eyeing either Naked palette but don't quite feel ready to splurge the $54 on it, this is a great and inexpensive alternative.
  • Elf 32 color palette -- I've had this palette for a year now and still have yet to use it, so why not?? I like the palette because there's a mixture of neutral and fun colors, so you can create tons of different looks with it!! plus the fact that it was on sale makes it a little sweeter :)
I'm excited for this challenge and can't wait to see what I come up with! I definitely believe that anyone out there that is struggling with using up what's in their collection should take this challenge on. You never know what gems you may have hiding away :) Thanks so much for reading and like always, Stay Beautiful!

Review: Nubian Heritage African Black Soap

Hello, all! Happy new year to everyone!! I came on to give my review on the second out of the three soaps I received from Nubian Heritage---the African Black Soap. Price: $4.99 on NH website and at the Vitamin Shoppe (5 oz size) Specs: This soap claims to be  acne-fighting,  detoxifying and healing.  Also, it was designed for people with   combination, oily, sensitive, and problem skin  , however it has been said that people with ALL skin types can use this as well :) but, back to the specs. Like I mentioned on my review on the Shea Butter soap , on the container is a brief history about how Nubian Heritage got its start and the ayurvedic properties about the key ingredients--which for this product line is shea butter, oats, aloe, palm ash, plaintain peel, tamarind extract and vitamin E. Palm Ash, Tamarind & Plantain Peel--soothing properties ; minimizes the appearance of superficial skin imperfections Oats--brightens and evens skin tone ...

November Favorites

Hello, my loves! Welcome back & if you're new here, welcome! I can't believe that I'm here with my November beauty favorites!! Like the year is legit almost  done. 31 days left before 2018 makes its grand entry. I do have quite a bit this month, so if you're interested in learning all about my  favorites for November,  then just keep reading! SKIN/BODYCARE Eco Tools Konjac Cleansing Sponge : so great for helping spread my cleanser more evenly on my face versus using my hands or a rag! I've also noticed that it has helped my skin be a lot smoother, too! Shea Moisture Superfruit Complex Body Lotion : such a thick, hydrating lotion !! Only thing though is I would change the packaging--maybe opt for a jar instead of a bottle because it's thicker that a traditional lotion, but thinner than a body butter. Nip & Fab Kale Fix Protecting Shot : my skin has been more balanced lately since incorporating this oil!! Since it's colder, my skin tends t...

Nonetheless, I have some really good stuff that I've been loving, so if you guys wanna know about my favorites for August, then just keep on  reading! Makeup Colourpop Element of Surprise palette : this is probably one of the most unique palettes I own! When I first saw it, I had no interest in picking it up, but when I saw it in Ulta & swatched the shade Rayon, (metallic dark coral with blue-green duochrome) I fell in love!! I never thought I'd love this palette, but I'm pleasantly surprised! Colourpop x KathleenLights Dream St. Palette :  another great option for a few pops of color + neutral shades! Unlike the Element of Surprise, this one is more a warm toned color scheme .  Also, I...
