Best of Beauty 2018 (Eyes)

Hola, beautiful ones!! Welcome back & if you're new here, welcome!  So we are now as part 2 of my Best of Beauty series, whish is all about the eyes! If you missed part 1 which was all about face products, click here to check that out! But back to my original thought: this year was definitely the year of the palettes! There were SO many items released for both high end and drugstore, but to me, I felt the drugstore really gave us consumers what we were wanting more than the high end counterparts. Nonetheless, there were some wonderful eye products overall.  So if you're interested, then just keep on reading!

  • BH Cosmetics Weekend Festival:I hadn't used a more colorful palette from BH Cosmetics in years (the quality was never very good), but when I stumbled upon this one, I never looked back!!  It's pretty wearable, but very fun and unexpected!! Ideal for someone that wants to explore in colors, but not be overwhelmed!
  • Profusion Eyeshadows: If I had to choose one affordable brand that really stole the show, Profusion would be it!! Their shadow quality is so silky and buttery, and to be under $20??? You truly cannot go wrong!! There are $40-60 palettes that don't hold a candle to these!!
  • Elf Mad for Matte ---"Jewel Pop": I didn't add this to my collection until later in the year, but this one really knocked my socks off!! All the colors I've used are very pigmented, but extremely easy to blend out! Plus, it's perfect to supplement other palettes that may lack in the matte department, or to add a pop of color without overdoing it!
  • Kat Von D Liquid liner ---"Trooper": I'm actually shocked I'm mentioning this because I did not like this liner at first. But, this has come in so clutch when I wanted to wear a nice , thin black line on my upper lid. It glided on nicely and lasted about the entire day!
  • Wet n Wild Mega Length Mascara: the best bottom lash mascara in the world!! It's replaced my old holy grail, The Skinny Mascara by NYX (because it's so hard to find now). The brush just grabs all my little bottom lash hairs and brings them to life!
  • LA Colors Browie Wowie Pencil---"Dark":  I'm shook at how amazing this brow pencil is!! though I love the micro tip skinny pencils still, the thicker angled pencils have been my jam all year! I more so discovered this the second half of 2018, but cannot get enough of how it's creamy enough to glide on my browns , but waxy enough to stay in place! I do wish the shade range was a bit more diverse in stores (most of the colors are online).
  • Wet n Wild Retractable Brow Pencil---"Dark Brown": before I picked up the LA Colors pencil, this was my ride or die!! It's extremely similar to the LA Colors one, but just a little more stiff. But it's still easy to work with!! I REALLY wish that the shade range was bigger with these, because they are so amazing!!
  • L'oreal Brow Stylist Plumper: I'm extremely late with trying this out, but I'm so happy I did! It gives my brows a nice natural fullness not that my brows are really thin, but you get what I mean). ANd my brow hairs don't droop or fade throughout the day!!
  • Maybelline Brow Precise Fiber Volumizer: aside from the Brow Stylist plumper, this was everything!! it's like the Brow Stylist Plumper, but on steroids! Some days, I would use just this to do my brows , and they looked so amazing!! the shade range is on the small side, but every practical hair color has an option to choose and use!
Well, this wraps up part  two of my best of beauty series!! hopefully, you guys found some great items to try out for yourselves!! stay tuned for part 3! Thanks for reading and like always, Stay Beautiful!

Review: Nubian Heritage African Black Soap

Hello, all! Happy new year to everyone!! I came on to give my review on the second out of the three soaps I received from Nubian Heritage---the African Black Soap. Price: $4.99 on NH website and at the Vitamin Shoppe (5 oz size) Specs: This soap claims to be  acne-fighting,  detoxifying and healing.  Also, it was designed for people with   combination, oily, sensitive, and problem skin  , however it has been said that people with ALL skin types can use this as well :) but, back to the specs. Like I mentioned on my review on the Shea Butter soap , on the container is a brief history about how Nubian Heritage got its start and the ayurvedic properties about the key ingredients--which for this product line is shea butter, oats, aloe, palm ash, plaintain peel, tamarind extract and vitamin E. Palm Ash, Tamarind & Plantain Peel--soothing properties ; minimizes the appearance of superficial skin imperfections Oats--brightens and evens skin tone ...

November Favorites

Hello, my loves! Welcome back & if you're new here, welcome! I can't believe that I'm here with my November beauty favorites!! Like the year is legit almost  done. 31 days left before 2018 makes its grand entry. I do have quite a bit this month, so if you're interested in learning all about my  favorites for November,  then just keep reading! SKIN/BODYCARE Eco Tools Konjac Cleansing Sponge : so great for helping spread my cleanser more evenly on my face versus using my hands or a rag! I've also noticed that it has helped my skin be a lot smoother, too! Shea Moisture Superfruit Complex Body Lotion : such a thick, hydrating lotion !! Only thing though is I would change the packaging--maybe opt for a jar instead of a bottle because it's thicker that a traditional lotion, but thinner than a body butter. Nip & Fab Kale Fix Protecting Shot : my skin has been more balanced lately since incorporating this oil!! Since it's colder, my skin tends t...

August Favorites 2018.

Hola, beautiful ones!! Welcome back & if you're new here, welcome! Once again, we've reached the end on yet another month, which means monthly favorites! Guys, we're officially 2/3 through 2018!! Crazy that just in 4 short months, it will be 2019!! Slow down, time!! Nonetheless, I have some really good stuff that I've been loving, so if you guys wanna know about my favorites for August, then just keep on  reading! Makeup Colourpop Element of Surprise palette : this is probably one of the most unique palettes I own! When I first saw it, I had no interest in picking it up, but when I saw it in Ulta & swatched the shade Rayon, (metallic dark coral with blue-green duochrome) I fell in love!! I never thought I'd love this palette, but I'm pleasantly surprised! Colourpop x KathleenLights Dream St. Palette :  another great option for a few pops of color + neutral shades! Unlike the Element of Surprise, this one is more a warm toned color scheme .  Also, I...
