Favorite Fall/Winter Blushes

Hey, all you beauties! Welcome back and if you're new around these parts, I welcome you! Today is my  final installment in my favorite fall/winter items, which is all about my favorite blushes! I have my nail polish, fashion  & lipstick recommendations up already, which you can check out here!  Though I have quite a large blush collection, it was a bit easier to narrow down my top favorites!! So, if you guys are interested in my  favorite fall/winter blushes, then keep on reading!

  • CoverGirl Tru Blend blush in "Deep Mauve" [retails $8.97]
    • This is my favorite purple blush!! It's bold but still very wearable once blended out!
  • Milani Baked Blush in "Red Vino" [retails $7.97]
    • This is  a gorgeous red blush that gives off gorgeous color payoff and glow!!
  • NYX HD Blushes----"Bronzed", "Deep Plum", "Bitten", "Tuscan", "Mauve 'n Out" [retails $6.49]
    • All of these are fantastic for the colder months!!  Deep Plum & Mauve 'n Out are more in the purple family, Bitten & Tuscan are more pink, while Bronzed is a unique bronzey orange!!
  • Colourpop Super Shock Cheek----"Cheerio", "Bardot" [retails $8.00]
    • Honestly , these are similar to one another (and to Red Vino by Milani), except Cheerio is more of a cool toned red with a sheen, while Bardot is a warm glowy copper red!
  • theBalm Instain blushes----"Houndstooth", "Pinstripe" [retails $26.00]
    • Pinstripe is a nice muted plum shade with a slight glow, while Houndstooth is more on the mauve pink side!!
  • ELF Blush Palette in "Dark" [retails $6.00]
    • I talk about this all the time!! It's one of my favorites to pull out during the colder months. You're probably tired of me raving about it, but it's just so so good!!
  • Black Radiance Baked Blushes----"Warm Berry", "Toasted Almond", "Raspberry" [retails $4.99]
    • These are a little more subtle since they're baked, but I love these!! I've mentioned these a few times on the blog also, but the colors are pretty dark, so if you're super fair, these may be too dark and pigmented for you.

I hope you've found some good essentials within this list to try out for yourselves & that you enjoyed this little series to get fall ready! Let me know what some of your fall and winter blushes are! Thanks for reading, and like always, Stay Beautiful!

Review: Nubian Heritage African Black Soap

Hello, all! Happy new year to everyone!! I came on to give my review on the second out of the three soaps I received from Nubian Heritage---the African Black Soap. Price: $4.99 on NH website and at the Vitamin Shoppe (5 oz size) Specs: This soap claims to be  acne-fighting,  detoxifying and healing.  Also, it was designed for people with   combination, oily, sensitive, and problem skin  , however it has been said that people with ALL skin types can use this as well :) but, back to the specs. Like I mentioned on my review on the Shea Butter soap , on the container is a brief history about how Nubian Heritage got its start and the ayurvedic properties about the key ingredients--which for this product line is shea butter, oats, aloe, palm ash, plaintain peel, tamarind extract and vitamin E. Palm Ash, Tamarind & Plantain Peel--soothing properties ; minimizes the appearance of superficial skin imperfections Oats--brightens and evens skin tone ...

November Favorites

Hello, my loves! Welcome back & if you're new here, welcome! I can't believe that I'm here with my November beauty favorites!! Like the year is legit almost  done. 31 days left before 2018 makes its grand entry. I do have quite a bit this month, so if you're interested in learning all about my  favorites for November,  then just keep reading! SKIN/BODYCARE Eco Tools Konjac Cleansing Sponge : so great for helping spread my cleanser more evenly on my face versus using my hands or a rag! I've also noticed that it has helped my skin be a lot smoother, too! Shea Moisture Superfruit Complex Body Lotion : such a thick, hydrating lotion !! Only thing though is I would change the packaging--maybe opt for a jar instead of a bottle because it's thicker that a traditional lotion, but thinner than a body butter. Nip & Fab Kale Fix Protecting Shot : my skin has been more balanced lately since incorporating this oil!! Since it's colder, my skin tends t...

August Favorites 2018.

Hola, beautiful ones!! Welcome back & if you're new here, welcome! Once again, we've reached the end on yet another month, which means monthly favorites! Guys, we're officially 2/3 through 2018!! Crazy that just in 4 short months, it will be 2019!! Slow down, time!! Nonetheless, I have some really good stuff that I've been loving, so if you guys wanna know about my favorites for August, then just keep on  reading! Makeup Colourpop Element of Surprise palette : this is probably one of the most unique palettes I own! When I first saw it, I had no interest in picking it up, but when I saw it in Ulta & swatched the shade Rayon, (metallic dark coral with blue-green duochrome) I fell in love!! I never thought I'd love this palette, but I'm pleasantly surprised! Colourpop x KathleenLights Dream St. Palette :  another great option for a few pops of color + neutral shades! Unlike the Element of Surprise, this one is more a warm toned color scheme .  Also, I...
