Beauty Supply 5: Setting Sprays

Hey, all you beauties! Welcome back and if you're new around these parts, I welcome you! Today is going to be another installment in my Beauty Supply 5 series! If you've missed any of my previous posts in this series, click right here to catch up!! As you see by the title, this one is all about setting sprays! Setting sprays are extremely helpful for helping rehydrate the skin,  allowing your makeup to mesh together and last longer! There's a ton of different options out now since the drugstore has been really giving the higher end brands a run for their money! This category is not as large in my makeup collection because I kind of have my favorite ones. So, if you guys are interested in some good setting sprays, then keep on reading!

  • Wet N Wild Photofocus Setting Spray [retails $4.99]
    • Great setting spray, but the packaging is so small!! Like they could make it a little bit bigger.
  • Femme Couture Get Locked Setting Spray [retails $6.49]
    • This Sally's exclusive is like the hybrid of the Hard Candy Fast and Fabulous and the Urban Decay All Nighter!! It tends to allow my makeup  to last a good bit  longer than some of my other setting sprays!
  • Hard Candy Sheer Envy Primer Mist [retails $6.00]
    • This is the most hydrating setting spray that I own! It leaves my skin dewy and glowy, so I actually only use this one in the fall and winter months when the air is colder and drier. Plus, the coconut water is beneficial for my skin health!
  • LA Girl Pro Setting Spray [retails $4.99]
    • This is also a great long lasting spray! I used this last Memorial Day for my father's wedding and he lives in  Georgia, so you know it gets really hot & humid down there! And my makeup lasted really nicely the whole day!
  • Milani Make it Last Setting Spray [retails $9.99]
    • This is like the big sister of the WNW setting spray, and I LOVEEEEEEE IT!! But unlike that one, it doesn't have an alcohol smell!! Instead, it has a nice light cucumber, fruity smell! Plus, it has the best mist out of all my sprays!
Honorable Mentions
    • Mario Badescu Facial Spray [retails $4.00 for 2 oz, $7.00 for 4 oz, $12.00 for 8 oz]
      • I love using this both when I wear makeup and when I don't! It gives my combination skin a little extra hydration without making me greasy! There's the original  Rosewater spray and the new Cucumber/Green Tea spray, and both are fantastic! But if I really had to recommend just one, the original Rosewater is your best bet, because you can use this for more things! I also use it in my curly hair and it helps my curls not be so dry!!
    • Hard Candy Fast and Fabulous Setting Spray [retails $6.00]
      • One of the first setting sprays I ever tried and still love!! I love the cucumber smell and how cooling it is on the skin!

Well, we've reached the end !! Hopefully you've found some good products within this list to try out for yourselves! Thanks for reading, and like always, Stay Beautiful!

Review: Nubian Heritage African Black Soap

Hello, all! Happy new year to everyone!! I came on to give my review on the second out of the three soaps I received from Nubian Heritage---the African Black Soap. Price: $4.99 on NH website and at the Vitamin Shoppe (5 oz size) Specs: This soap claims to be  acne-fighting,  detoxifying and healing.  Also, it was designed for people with   combination, oily, sensitive, and problem skin  , however it has been said that people with ALL skin types can use this as well :) but, back to the specs. Like I mentioned on my review on the Shea Butter soap , on the container is a brief history about how Nubian Heritage got its start and the ayurvedic properties about the key ingredients--which for this product line is shea butter, oats, aloe, palm ash, plaintain peel, tamarind extract and vitamin E. Palm Ash, Tamarind & Plantain Peel--soothing properties ; minimizes the appearance of superficial skin imperfections Oats--brightens and evens skin tone ...

November Favorites

Hello, my loves! Welcome back & if you're new here, welcome! I can't believe that I'm here with my November beauty favorites!! Like the year is legit almost  done. 31 days left before 2018 makes its grand entry. I do have quite a bit this month, so if you're interested in learning all about my  favorites for November,  then just keep reading! SKIN/BODYCARE Eco Tools Konjac Cleansing Sponge : so great for helping spread my cleanser more evenly on my face versus using my hands or a rag! I've also noticed that it has helped my skin be a lot smoother, too! Shea Moisture Superfruit Complex Body Lotion : such a thick, hydrating lotion !! Only thing though is I would change the packaging--maybe opt for a jar instead of a bottle because it's thicker that a traditional lotion, but thinner than a body butter. Nip & Fab Kale Fix Protecting Shot : my skin has been more balanced lately since incorporating this oil!! Since it's colder, my skin tends t...

August Favorites 2018.

Hola, beautiful ones!! Welcome back & if you're new here, welcome! Once again, we've reached the end on yet another month, which means monthly favorites! Guys, we're officially 2/3 through 2018!! Crazy that just in 4 short months, it will be 2019!! Slow down, time!! Nonetheless, I have some really good stuff that I've been loving, so if you guys wanna know about my favorites for August, then just keep on  reading! Makeup Colourpop Element of Surprise palette : this is probably one of the most unique palettes I own! When I first saw it, I had no interest in picking it up, but when I saw it in Ulta & swatched the shade Rayon, (metallic dark coral with blue-green duochrome) I fell in love!! I never thought I'd love this palette, but I'm pleasantly surprised! Colourpop x KathleenLights Dream St. Palette :  another great option for a few pops of color + neutral shades! Unlike the Element of Surprise, this one is more a warm toned color scheme .  Also, I...
