BS5: Fly Brushes under $5

Hey, all you beauties! Welcome back and if you're new around these parts, I welcome you! Today is going to be another installment in my Beauty Supply 5 series! If you've missed any of my previous posts in this series, click right here to catch up!! As you see by the title,
today is all about affordable brushes! There's a ton of different options out now since the drugstore has been really giving the higher end brands a run for their money! I've noticed that sometimes , how your makeup comes out in the end depends on the kind of tools used to apply your product. Now, there's a lot of hyped up brands like MAC , IT Cosmetics and Sigma that offer nice brushes, but they do cost a pretty penny! So, I am relieved that I found some great affordable tools that work just as well (if not better), and many of them are under $5! So, if you guys are interested in some good brushes under $5, then keep on reading!

  • Wet n Wild Brushes
    • These are very soft and apply your product evenly!! I will say , though, that I prefer the eye brushes over the face brushes . The face brushes are good, but the eye brushes really blew my mind!! Especially their Crease Brush----it's only $1 and it blends out shadows like a dream!! I have like 4 of that brush because I just cannot be without it!
  • ELF Studio Brushes
    • These were some of the first brushes I tried out when I started wearing makeup more consistently, and they still are a winner in my book! And they actually last a good bit of time for $3 brushes!! I only had to recently replace the ones I've had since I was about 20 and I'm 25 now, so quality is all the way there!!
  • AOA Studio Brushes
    • These are a very recent discovery & I'm already obsessed with them!! [SPOILER ALERT: These are one of my October favorites]. They are so darn soft and to cost only $1??!?! You honestly cannot beat it!!
  • LA Colors Brushes
    • This brand has always gotten a bit of a side eye from me because they're so cheap, not per se in just price, but sometimes in quality as well.  But their brushes really pleasantly surprised me!! I'm obsessed with their eye brushes!! They do have face brushes also, and I may pick up some of these to try out as well.
  • Coastal Scents Pro Blending Fluff
    • I'm not too into Coastal Scents brushes mostly because they're an online exclusive brand (I prefer purchasing my brushes in store because many of them have the little testers for me to feel and touch) , but I had been hearing about this particular brush for years. So when CS had one of their Hot Pots sales, I picked up one of these to try and fell in love!! It diffuses my transition shades nicely onto the eye , and it's really soft!!
Well, we've reached the end !! Hopefully you've found some good products within this list to try out for yourselves! Thanks for reading, and like always, Stay Beautiful!

Review: Nubian Heritage African Black Soap

Hello, all! Happy new year to everyone!! I came on to give my review on the second out of the three soaps I received from Nubian Heritage---the African Black Soap. Price: $4.99 on NH website and at the Vitamin Shoppe (5 oz size) Specs: This soap claims to be  acne-fighting,  detoxifying and healing.  Also, it was designed for people with   combination, oily, sensitive, and problem skin  , however it has been said that people with ALL skin types can use this as well :) but, back to the specs. Like I mentioned on my review on the Shea Butter soap , on the container is a brief history about how Nubian Heritage got its start and the ayurvedic properties about the key ingredients--which for this product line is shea butter, oats, aloe, palm ash, plaintain peel, tamarind extract and vitamin E. Palm Ash, Tamarind & Plantain Peel--soothing properties ; minimizes the appearance of superficial skin imperfections Oats--brightens and evens skin tone ...

November Favorites

Hello, my loves! Welcome back & if you're new here, welcome! I can't believe that I'm here with my November beauty favorites!! Like the year is legit almost  done. 31 days left before 2018 makes its grand entry. I do have quite a bit this month, so if you're interested in learning all about my  favorites for November,  then just keep reading! SKIN/BODYCARE Eco Tools Konjac Cleansing Sponge : so great for helping spread my cleanser more evenly on my face versus using my hands or a rag! I've also noticed that it has helped my skin be a lot smoother, too! Shea Moisture Superfruit Complex Body Lotion : such a thick, hydrating lotion !! Only thing though is I would change the packaging--maybe opt for a jar instead of a bottle because it's thicker that a traditional lotion, but thinner than a body butter. Nip & Fab Kale Fix Protecting Shot : my skin has been more balanced lately since incorporating this oil!! Since it's colder, my skin tends t...

Hola, beautiful ones!! Welcome back & if you're new here, welcome! Once again, we've reached the end on yet another month, which means monthly favorites! Guys, we're officially 2/3 through 2018!! Crazy that just in 4 short months, it will be 2019!! Slow down, time!! Nonetheless, I have some really good stuff that I've been loving, so if you guys wanna know about my favorites for August, then just keep on  reading! Makeup Colourpop Element of Surprise palette : this is probably one of the most unique palettes I own! When I first saw it, I had no interest in picking it up, but when I saw it in Ulta & swatched the shade Rayon, (metallic dark coral with blue-green duochrome) I fell in love!! I never thought I'd love this palette, but I'm pleasantly surprised! Colourpop x KathleenLights Dream St. Palette :  another great option for a few pops of color + neutral shades! Unlike the Element of Surprise, this one is more a warm toned color scheme .  Also, I...
