September Non Beauty Favorites

Hola, beautiful ones!! Welcome back & if you're new here, welcome! Time for another monthly favorites!! Just like last month, I had so many favorites for September, that I had to break them up into two parts. My beauty faves are already live, so feel free to click here to check those out! Now that we got the shpiel out the way,  if you're interested in learning all about my other favorites for September, then just keep reading!

SKIN CARE
  • First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Lip Therapy [retails $12.00]
    • This minty balm does a nice job at hydrating my lips before I apply my lippie of the day or if they're just feeling a little dry and cracked! I also use this sometimes at night to keep my lips from being all cracked when I wake up the next day.
  • ELF Nourishing Night Cream [retails $12.00]
    • When I use this after I wash my face at night, this has been helping my face not feel so greasy and oily the next morning! I don't think that's its purpose, but it's been working like a charm!!
  • First Aid Beauty Vital Greens Facial Mist [retails $18.00]
    • This is very similar to the Mario Badescu facial spray with Aloe/Cucumber/Green Tea, in my opinion. It's hydrating but soothing!! This has also been great for applying to my face before my moisturizer or makeup!!
  • Neutrogena Oil Free Moisture for Combination Skin [retails $9.99]
    • This is a nice, gentle everyday moisturizer that's perfect for my combo skin! I get really dry  and cracked around my mouth area, but super oily on my cheeks and nose. And this has been leaving my skin moisturized and shine free!!
  • Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask [retails $17.00 travel size, $24.00 full size]
    • This is super hydrating, especially since it's starting to cool down and my skin is getting a little drier. When I use this, my skin just feels more supple and smooth.
HAIR CARE
  • Taliah Waajid Protective Mist Bodifier [retails $6.79]
    • Every time I use this on my coils, I have so much less breakage!! I'm not even sure why, but it just provides this coating on my strands that provides amazing slip and strength!!
  • As I Am Born Curly Rosemary & Vanilla Twist Defining Smoothie [retails $14.00]
    • This has given my hair amazing definition every time I use it!! It's like the KCCC Knot Today and the Creme of Nature Butterlicious Curls had a baby.
  • Mielle Organics Babassu Oil Mint Deep Conditioner [retails $14.89]
    • I've really been enjoying using this deep conditioner on my curls!! It claims to be both a protein and moisture replenisher, but on my hair it's more protein than moisture. So , I'm glad that I have found a place for this in my hair routine. Plus , I love the cool minty smell!!
MISCELLANEOUS
  • Never Enough by One Direction
    • I'll say this now, I'm not the biggest fan of them. But they do have a few songs that I enjoy & this is one of them!! I've been listening to it non stop all month!
  • Valerie Pac
    • I've been binge watching her channel like crazy!! She seems super down to earth and sweet!!
  • Marlon
    • Out of all the Wayans siblings, he's been my fave!! No matter what he's in , Marlon just has a way of putting a smile on your face.  So, no surprise that I love his new show!

Well, to the end we have arrived!! Hopefully you've found some good products within this list to try out for yourselves! Let me know some of your non beauty favorites or not so favorites from September! Thanks for reading, and like always, Stay Beautiful!

Review: Nubian Heritage African Black Soap

Hello, all! Happy new year to everyone!! I came on to give my review on the second out of the three soaps I received from Nubian Heritage---the African Black Soap. Price: $4.99 on NH website and at the Vitamin Shoppe (5 oz size) Specs: This soap claims to be  acne-fighting,  detoxifying and healing.  Also, it was designed for people with   combination, oily, sensitive, and problem skin  , however it has been said that people with ALL skin types can use this as well :) but, back to the specs. Like I mentioned on my review on the Shea Butter soap , on the container is a brief history about how Nubian Heritage got its start and the ayurvedic properties about the key ingredients--which for this product line is shea butter, oats, aloe, palm ash, plaintain peel, tamarind extract and vitamin E. Palm Ash, Tamarind & Plantain Peel--soothing properties ; minimizes the appearance of superficial skin imperfections Oats--brightens and evens skin tone ...

November Favorites

Hello, my loves! Welcome back & if you're new here, welcome! I can't believe that I'm here with my November beauty favorites!! Like the year is legit almost  done. 31 days left before 2018 makes its grand entry. I do have quite a bit this month, so if you're interested in learning all about my  favorites for November,  then just keep reading! SKIN/BODYCARE Eco Tools Konjac Cleansing Sponge : so great for helping spread my cleanser more evenly on my face versus using my hands or a rag! I've also noticed that it has helped my skin be a lot smoother, too! Shea Moisture Superfruit Complex Body Lotion : such a thick, hydrating lotion !! Only thing though is I would change the packaging--maybe opt for a jar instead of a bottle because it's thicker that a traditional lotion, but thinner than a body butter. Nip & Fab Kale Fix Protecting Shot : my skin has been more balanced lately since incorporating this oil!! Since it's colder, my skin tends t...

August Favorites 2018.

Hola, beautiful ones!! Welcome back & if you're new here, welcome! Once again, we've reached the end on yet another month, which means monthly favorites! Guys, we're officially 2/3 through 2018!! Crazy that just in 4 short months, it will be 2019!! Slow down, time!! Nonetheless, I have some really good stuff that I've been loving, so if you guys wanna know about my favorites for August, then just keep on  reading! Makeup Colourpop Element of Surprise palette : this is probably one of the most unique palettes I own! When I first saw it, I had no interest in picking it up, but when I saw it in Ulta & swatched the shade Rayon, (metallic dark coral with blue-green duochrome) I fell in love!! I never thought I'd love this palette, but I'm pleasantly surprised! Colourpop x KathleenLights Dream St. Palette :  another great option for a few pops of color + neutral shades! Unlike the Element of Surprise, this one is more a warm toned color scheme .  Also, I...
