Beauty Supply 5 : Brows

Hey, all you beauties! Today is going to be another installment in my Beauty Supply 5 series! If you happened to have missed my first post about it , you can click right here to check it out! As you see by the title, this one is all about the brows! Now, this is something I actually do not have a lot of variety from because I do not deviate too much from my tried and true products. But, I still think that it can be extremely helpful to a lot of you guys. I mean, who wants to spend $20+ dollars on a brow gel, pencil or pomade ???? (No offense, Anastasia, lol) I certainly do not! So, if you guys are interested in some good quality , inexpensive brow products, then keep on reading!

1. Jordana FabuBrow pencil in Dark Brown (retail $2.99, 6 shades available) I think it's just the bomb! even though this pencil has to be sharpened, I don't find myself having to push really hard onto my brow to get the pigmentation to show up! It is a little stiff, so if you're not into really stiff or waxy brow pencils, I wouldn't recommend this. But as for me, I'm a fan!

2. Elf Eyebrow Kit in Dark (retail $3.00, 4 shades available): I've had the same exact one for some years, but I just love it so much!! I'm not a real big fan of powder, but the wax in this kit----SUPERB. absolutely superb!! It applies so smoothly and pigmentation is on point!

3. Wet n Wild Megaclear Lash& Brow Mascara (retail $1.99)--even though I've tried quite a few brow gels, this one will always be the MVP! It holds my brows in place all day, it's easy to find & it's less than $5! What more could you really ask for?? I used to be a die hard for the Elf one, but when I saw that you get 4x the product (8.5 ml vs. 2.5 ml) for about double the price, it was a no-brainer!

4. Milani Easybrow pencil in Dark Brown (retail $4.99-5.99, 3 shades available): another great brow pencil option! Unlike the Jordana pencil, it is pretty creamy and takes almost no effort to get the pigmentation built up to how you want it ! It blends out well, lasts all day & it's waterproof!! So, this would be perfect for summer time at the beach or pool if you wanted to still a little more presentable.

5. L'Oréal Brow Stylist Definer in Dark Brunette (retail $7.99, 3 shades available):  oh hot damn!! This is perfection!! It performs very similarly to the Milani Easybrow, except it's a lot skinnier & I don't believe this one is waterproof. Nonetheless, it's still a great brow pencil to have in your collection!

Honorable Mentions
  • NYX Micro Brow (retail $9.99, 8 shades available): this honestly is super similar to the Brow Stylist Definer, but just a tad bit longer in packaging! Nevertheless, this product applies really nice and blends out great too!

*the shade I use is either Espresso or Black

  • Palladio Herbal Brow Gel (retail $6.00): it's like the ABH & Wet n Wild one had a baby!. It's a thinner consistency like the Wet n Wild, but holds my brows like the ABH!
Well, that wraps it up for my top picks!! Hopefully you've found some good products within this list to try out for yourselves! Thanks for reading, and like always, Stay Beautiful!

Review: Nubian Heritage African Black Soap

Hello, all! Happy new year to everyone!! I came on to give my review on the second out of the three soaps I received from Nubian Heritage---the African Black Soap. Price: $4.99 on NH website and at the Vitamin Shoppe (5 oz size) Specs: This soap claims to be  acne-fighting,  detoxifying and healing.  Also, it was designed for people with   combination, oily, sensitive, and problem skin  , however it has been said that people with ALL skin types can use this as well :) but, back to the specs. Like I mentioned on my review on the Shea Butter soap , on the container is a brief history about how Nubian Heritage got its start and the ayurvedic properties about the key ingredients--which for this product line is shea butter, oats, aloe, palm ash, plaintain peel, tamarind extract and vitamin E. Palm Ash, Tamarind & Plantain Peel--soothing properties ; minimizes the appearance of superficial skin imperfections Oats--brightens and evens skin tone ...

November Favorites

Hello, my loves! Welcome back & if you're new here, welcome! I can't believe that I'm here with my November beauty favorites!! Like the year is legit almost  done. 31 days left before 2018 makes its grand entry. I do have quite a bit this month, so if you're interested in learning all about my  favorites for November,  then just keep reading! SKIN/BODYCARE Eco Tools Konjac Cleansing Sponge : so great for helping spread my cleanser more evenly on my face versus using my hands or a rag! I've also noticed that it has helped my skin be a lot smoother, too! Shea Moisture Superfruit Complex Body Lotion : such a thick, hydrating lotion !! Only thing though is I would change the packaging--maybe opt for a jar instead of a bottle because it's thicker that a traditional lotion, but thinner than a body butter. Nip & Fab Kale Fix Protecting Shot : my skin has been more balanced lately since incorporating this oil!! Since it's colder, my skin tends t...

Hola, beautiful ones!! Welcome back & if you're new here, welcome! Once again, we've reached the end on yet another month, which means monthly favorites! Guys, we're officially 2/3 through 2018!! Crazy that just in 4 short months, it will be 2019!! Slow down, time!! Nonetheless, I have some really good stuff that I've been loving, so if you guys wanna know about my favorites for August, then just keep on  reading! Makeup Colourpop Element of Surprise palette : this is probably one of the most unique palettes I own! When I first saw it, I had no interest in picking it up, but when I saw it in Ulta & swatched the shade Rayon, (metallic dark coral with blue-green duochrome) I fell in love!! I never thought I'd love this palette, but I'm pleasantly surprised! Colourpop x KathleenLights Dream St. Palette :  another great option for a few pops of color + neutral shades! Unlike the Element of Surprise, this one is more a warm toned color scheme .  Also, I...
