March-May Empties

Hey, guys!!  So, I'm back with another empties post. I didn't have very many separately for each month,  so I decided to combine March, April and May's together. Just like in my February empties, I will offer my honest review of each product and whether or not I would repurchase.  So, without delay, let's get started!

  • VO5 Moisture Milks Conditioner in Strawberries and Cream: One of the best cheapy conditioners on the market! I've used VO5  since pretty early in my natural hair journey and I LOVE how they make my hair feel!! This one, in particular , makes my hair so soft and plush!! I would definitely repurchase!
  • Naughty & Nice Sweet Seduction Hydrating Body Cream: This as a fairly nice lotion to use----plus the fact it was 60 cents doesn't hurt either!! I was not ashy again after application , but the texture before you apply it kinda threw me off a little (like it was more silicony or oily). But, over all, I did enjoy it. I would repurchase.
  • Jamaica Mango & Lime Jamaican Black Castor Oil in Coconut: This oil is absolutely wonderful!! My hair stays moisturized for longer periods of time, and it's a great growth aid in thickening the hair. Definitely would repurchase!
  • Natrol 1000 mcg Biotin Dietary Supplement: probably one of the easiest supplements to take. It dissolved in my mouth so easily. However, I didn't see a huge difference in my hair, skin or nails growth . I think the concentration may have not been enough. Probably wouldn't repurchase unless it came in a higher strength.
  • Bath & Body Works Cool Coconut Surf shower gel: great fragrance and very nice lather! Upholds that usual BBW shower gel quality! I would repurchase!
  • Bath & Body Works Vanilla Wish & Apple Fizz shower gel: nice fragrance (though I got more apple than vanilla), but I felt like I had to use more because the lather was not all that hot. Probably wouldn't repurchase.
  • Secret pH balanced deodorant in Shower Fresh: One of my favorite deodorants EVERRRRRRRRRRR! It smells nice and I don't get those awful wet spots in my shirts. For sure a repurchase!
  • Curls Creme Brulee Whipped Curl Cream: one of the sweetest smelling hair products ever! (like vanilla cake frosting), but I didn't feel like it really moisturized my hair a whole lot. Probably wouldn't repurchase
  • GNC Aloe Vera Moisturizing Creme: nice, light moisturizer that made my face feel refreshed! Plus, it's very inexpensive! Would repurchase!
  • Mary Kay Hand & Decollete Cream: It did moisturize my hands but the smell was too perfumey for me. Probably wouldn't repurchase.
  • Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Hold & Shine Moisture Mist: I love the spray nozzle---it's a true mist!! Plus, you get a decent amount for the price (8 oz of product for $10 or $11) . It did moisturize my hair, but not as much as the older formula. I would maybe repurchase.
Well, that about wraps it up for this post. Hopefully , you find some nice product suggestions to try out.  Thanks for reading, stay tuned for the next one and like always, Stay Beautiful!!

Review: Nubian Heritage African Black Soap

Hello, all! Happy new year to everyone!! I came on to give my review on the second out of the three soaps I received from Nubian Heritage---the African Black Soap. Price: $4.99 on NH website and at the Vitamin Shoppe (5 oz size) Specs: This soap claims to be  acne-fighting,  detoxifying and healing.  Also, it was designed for people with   combination, oily, sensitive, and problem skin  , however it has been said that people with ALL skin types can use this as well :) but, back to the specs. Like I mentioned on my review on the Shea Butter soap , on the container is a brief history about how Nubian Heritage got its start and the ayurvedic properties about the key ingredients--which for this product line is shea butter, oats, aloe, palm ash, plaintain peel, tamarind extract and vitamin E. Palm Ash, Tamarind & Plantain Peel--soothing properties ; minimizes the appearance of superficial skin imperfections Oats--brightens and evens skin tone ...

November Favorites

Hello, my loves! Welcome back & if you're new here, welcome! I can't believe that I'm here with my November beauty favorites!! Like the year is legit almost  done. 31 days left before 2018 makes its grand entry. I do have quite a bit this month, so if you're interested in learning all about my  favorites for November,  then just keep reading! SKIN/BODYCARE Eco Tools Konjac Cleansing Sponge : so great for helping spread my cleanser more evenly on my face versus using my hands or a rag! I've also noticed that it has helped my skin be a lot smoother, too! Shea Moisture Superfruit Complex Body Lotion : such a thick, hydrating lotion !! Only thing though is I would change the packaging--maybe opt for a jar instead of a bottle because it's thicker that a traditional lotion, but thinner than a body butter. Nip & Fab Kale Fix Protecting Shot : my skin has been more balanced lately since incorporating this oil!! Since it's colder, my skin tends t...

August Favorites 2018.

Hola, beautiful ones!! Welcome back & if you're new here, welcome! Once again, we've reached the end on yet another month, which means monthly favorites! Guys, we're officially 2/3 through 2018!! Crazy that just in 4 short months, it will be 2019!! Slow down, time!! Nonetheless, I have some really good stuff that I've been loving, so if you guys wanna know about my favorites for August, then just keep on  reading! Makeup Colourpop Element of Surprise palette : this is probably one of the most unique palettes I own! When I first saw it, I had no interest in picking it up, but when I saw it in Ulta & swatched the shade Rayon, (metallic dark coral with blue-green duochrome) I fell in love!! I never thought I'd love this palette, but I'm pleasantly surprised! Colourpop x KathleenLights Dream St. Palette :  another great option for a few pops of color + neutral shades! Unlike the Element of Surprise, this one is more a warm toned color scheme .  Also, I...
