February & March ipsy bags: ipsylove & Floral Fantasy

Hey, all! Today, I'm coming with another review on two more of my ipsy bags: ipsylove [February] and Floral Fantasy [March]. Now before I jump into the review,  take a chance if you're totally clueless as to what exactly ipsy even is to go check out their website--www.ipsy.com--or the post I did on it back in September here.

Now, review time! :

Here's my February #ipsylove bag

I received:

  • Modelco Cheek Bulsh Powder in "02 Peach Bellini"
  • China Glaze nail polish in "Marry a Millionaire"
  • Glamglow Brightening Eye Treatment (I actually received two treatments)
  • City Color Creamy Lip Stain in "Flirtini"
  • Luxie Large Angled Blush
As always, I give a short honest review about each product: good, bad or in between.
  • I actually do like the blush on my skin! It gives more of a golden sheen on my cheeks, but it's flattering nonetheless. I was very afraid that it would look too bright or clownish on me, but it does the opposite.
  • Many don't know, but I am a sucker for nail polish. I love finding different colors to express myself , so I knew I would enjoy this without difficulty. Plus, I was in need of a new glitter polish anyways, so it was literally perfect timing!
  • The eye treatment was okay.....I think in order to offer a good review of the treatment, I would need to use it on the regular. Maybe if I ever find the full size of it, I'll do a separate review on it.
  • This lip stain.......sigh. This is probably the first ipsy product that I dislike. Though it was creamy going on and does dry matte, the color is just way too light for my skin tone. I'm debating on either trading it with someone else, gifting it or just chucking it. We'll see, but this just did not work for me at all.
  • I have yet to meet a brush that disappoints me, and this one definitely kept that train going! I LOVE this brush! It's been my go-to whenever I apply blush, which isn't often. Plus the rose gold/pink color?? SO cute!!
Now onward to the March bag (Floral Fantasy). Her'e's the products I received:
  • Acure Day Cream
  • NYX Butter Lipstick in "Hunk"
  • Skyn Hydro Cool Firming Eye Gels
  • Marsk Mineral Eyeshadow in "Fifty Shades"
  • Crown Brush C224 Concealer Brush
Now, Review time!
  • The day cream is very nice on my skin! It keeps me moisturized and I love the light citrusy scent!!
  • I actually own this lipstick color already, but hey I don't mind! It's a gorgeous purple shade that I feel virtually any skin tone can rock out!
  • Like other treatments I  received, I cannot exactly give a accurate review because I only receive one to two samples. I will say, however, that I did feel the cooling sensation of the gel pads once applied to my skin.
  • This shadow is a very pigmented gray shade that I have come to love!! Instantly, that extra drama is added when this shadow is used!!
  • This brush provides a nice application whenever I spot conceal---which is rarely---but this is a great option to have in your stash. This is my 2nd Crown brush I received and I am impressed!!

Well, that'll do it for this review! Stay tuned for what's in April & May's bags!! Thanks so much for reading and like always, Stay Beautiful!!

Review: Nubian Heritage African Black Soap

Hello, all! Happy new year to everyone!! I came on to give my review on the second out of the three soaps I received from Nubian Heritage---the African Black Soap. Price: $4.99 on NH website and at the Vitamin Shoppe (5 oz size) Specs: This soap claims to be  acne-fighting,  detoxifying and healing.  Also, it was designed for people with   combination, oily, sensitive, and problem skin  , however it has been said that people with ALL skin types can use this as well :) but, back to the specs. Like I mentioned on my review on the Shea Butter soap , on the container is a brief history about how Nubian Heritage got its start and the ayurvedic properties about the key ingredients--which for this product line is shea butter, oats, aloe, palm ash, plaintain peel, tamarind extract and vitamin E. Palm Ash, Tamarind & Plantain Peel--soothing properties ; minimizes the appearance of superficial skin imperfections Oats--brightens and evens skin tone ...

November Favorites

Hello, my loves! Welcome back & if you're new here, welcome! I can't believe that I'm here with my November beauty favorites!! Like the year is legit almost  done. 31 days left before 2018 makes its grand entry. I do have quite a bit this month, so if you're interested in learning all about my  favorites for November,  then just keep reading! SKIN/BODYCARE Eco Tools Konjac Cleansing Sponge : so great for helping spread my cleanser more evenly on my face versus using my hands or a rag! I've also noticed that it has helped my skin be a lot smoother, too! Shea Moisture Superfruit Complex Body Lotion : such a thick, hydrating lotion !! Only thing though is I would change the packaging--maybe opt for a jar instead of a bottle because it's thicker that a traditional lotion, but thinner than a body butter. Nip & Fab Kale Fix Protecting Shot : my skin has been more balanced lately since incorporating this oil!! Since it's colder, my skin tends t...

Hola, beautiful ones!! Welcome back & if you're new here, welcome! Once again, we've reached the end on yet another month, which means monthly favorites! Guys, we're officially 2/3 through 2018!! Crazy that just in 4 short months, it will be 2019!! Slow down, time!! Nonetheless, I have some really good stuff that I've been loving, so if you guys wanna know about my favorites for August, then just keep on  reading! Makeup Colourpop Element of Surprise palette : this is probably one of the most unique palettes I own! When I first saw it, I had no interest in picking it up, but when I saw it in Ulta & swatched the shade Rayon, (metallic dark coral with blue-green duochrome) I fell in love!! I never thought I'd love this palette, but I'm pleasantly surprised! Colourpop x KathleenLights Dream St. Palette :  another great option for a few pops of color + neutral shades! Unlike the Element of Surprise, this one is more a warm toned color scheme .  Also, I...
