April & May ipsy bags: Beautifully Bohemian & Jetsetter

Hey, all! Today, I'm coming with another review on two more of my ipsy bags: Beautifully Bohemian [April] and Jetsetter [May]. Now before I jump into the review, I'll give about 30 seconds to take a chance if you're totally clueless as to what exactly ipsy even is to go check out their website--www.ipsy.com--or the post I did on it back in September here.

You good now???? Alright, let's get into ze review!!

In April's bag (Beautifully Bohemian), I received:

  • Redken Wind Blown Dry Finishing Spray
  • Essence Lash Princess Mascara
  • theBalm Nude Dude mini eyeshadow single in "Flirty"
  • KCO Colors lipstick in "Natural Born Beauty"
  • Mullein & Sparrow Tinted Lip & Cheek Balm

Like always , I review every single item, good/bad/in between.
  • Redken Wind Blown Dry Finishing Spray---I haven't used this yet, but Redken is one of the best brands that I know of in the beauty market. Once I use it , I will offer my honest review about it.

  • Essence Lash Princess Mascara---LOVE IT!!!!! It is honestly one of the BEST mascaras that I've ever used in my life! It separates my lashes and extends them without irritating my eyes  like many other mascaras would do.

  • theBalm Nude Dude mini eyeshadow single in "Flirty"--so stinking pretty and pigmented! I've used this in a couple looks and it definitely holds it own! I may end up purchasing the Nude Dude palette one day, but for now, this single medium brown shadow is alright with me.

  • KCO Colors lipstick in "Natural Born Beauty"---I really love this formula and pigmentation of this lipstick!. Unfortunately, my tubing had broken so I will have to depot it. I also contacted ipsy regarding my issue , and they were kind enough to send me a replacement (which was the NYX Butter lipstick in Pops, which was similar to the KCO lipstick but a tad lighter).

  • Mullein & Sparrow Tinted Lip & Cheek Balm--though this isn't very pigmented on my dark skin, but it is a very nice lip balm! It keeps my lips smooth and supple, as well as provide a nice base for my lip products.
Now onto May's bag (Jetsetter). The products I received were:

  • Briogeo Rosarco Milk leave in conditioner spray
  • Luxie Beauty brush #205---Tapered Blending brush
  • Bellapierre Gel eyeliner in #02 Ebony
  • Urban Decay 24/7 lip pencil in Ozone with 2 samples of the Revolution high color lipgloss in Failbait & Bittersweet
  • Peter Lamas Detoxifying Citrus C facial cleanser

Now onto the review:

• The leave in conditioner was okay....not my absolute favorite but not horrible. The smell was nice and light, however.
•This is the second Luxie brush I received from ipsy and I was just as impressed as I was with my first one!!
• this eyeliner is a nice one to have! Its one of the few pencils that stay put on my waterline, which is very important since my eyes do water frequently.
• The lip pencil was alright. Nothing super stellar, but it works . I haven't tried the lipglosses yet , but will be sure to update when I do.
• and lastly, the facial cleanser. It is a nice cleanser , but an amazing body wash!! I don't find myself having  to use a ton of product to get a good lather  going and its so refreshing on my skin!

Well, that'll do it for this review! Stay tuned for what's in June & July's bags!! Thanks so much for reading and like always, Stay Beautiful!!

Review: Nubian Heritage African Black Soap

Hello, all! Happy new year to everyone!! I came on to give my review on the second out of the three soaps I received from Nubian Heritage---the African Black Soap. Price: $4.99 on NH website and at the Vitamin Shoppe (5 oz size) Specs: This soap claims to be  acne-fighting,  detoxifying and healing.  Also, it was designed for people with   combination, oily, sensitive, and problem skin  , however it has been said that people with ALL skin types can use this as well :) but, back to the specs. Like I mentioned on my review on the Shea Butter soap , on the container is a brief history about how Nubian Heritage got its start and the ayurvedic properties about the key ingredients--which for this product line is shea butter, oats, aloe, palm ash, plaintain peel, tamarind extract and vitamin E. Palm Ash, Tamarind & Plantain Peel--soothing properties ; minimizes the appearance of superficial skin imperfections Oats--brightens and evens skin tone ...

November Favorites

Hello, my loves! Welcome back & if you're new here, welcome! I can't believe that I'm here with my November beauty favorites!! Like the year is legit almost  done. 31 days left before 2018 makes its grand entry. I do have quite a bit this month, so if you're interested in learning all about my  favorites for November,  then just keep reading! SKIN/BODYCARE Eco Tools Konjac Cleansing Sponge : so great for helping spread my cleanser more evenly on my face versus using my hands or a rag! I've also noticed that it has helped my skin be a lot smoother, too! Shea Moisture Superfruit Complex Body Lotion : such a thick, hydrating lotion !! Only thing though is I would change the packaging--maybe opt for a jar instead of a bottle because it's thicker that a traditional lotion, but thinner than a body butter. Nip & Fab Kale Fix Protecting Shot : my skin has been more balanced lately since incorporating this oil!! Since it's colder, my skin tends t...

August Favorites 2018.

Hola, beautiful ones!! Welcome back & if you're new here, welcome! Once again, we've reached the end on yet another month, which means monthly favorites! Guys, we're officially 2/3 through 2018!! Crazy that just in 4 short months, it will be 2019!! Slow down, time!! Nonetheless, I have some really good stuff that I've been loving, so if you guys wanna know about my favorites for August, then just keep on  reading! Makeup Colourpop Element of Surprise palette : this is probably one of the most unique palettes I own! When I first saw it, I had no interest in picking it up, but when I saw it in Ulta & swatched the shade Rayon, (metallic dark coral with blue-green duochrome) I fell in love!! I never thought I'd love this palette, but I'm pleasantly surprised! Colourpop x KathleenLights Dream St. Palette :  another great option for a few pops of color + neutral shades! Unlike the Element of Surprise, this one is more a warm toned color scheme .  Also, I...
