September Favorites

Hola, beautiful ones!! Welcome back & if you're new here, welcome! Once again, we've reached the end on yet another month, which means monthly favorites time! We are 75% done with this year...75 freaking percent. It blows me away the more I think about it! like October and fall are official. Nonetheless, I have some really good stuff that I've been loving, so if you guys wanna know about my favorites for September, then just keep on reading!

Makeup (items that are in bold are no longer available)
  • No7 Beautifully Matte Makeup Base: I love how matte this keeps me throughout super hot or super long days! I've worn makeup for up to 10+ hours, and whenever I use this, everything looks pretty fresh still! This was a great affordable option to the Evermatte primer from Becca if you didn't want to fork out the bucks for that or couldn't find the travel size of that one. No7, bring this back because it's amazing!!!!
  • Benefit Porefessional Primer: everytime I use this primer, my skin is super smooth and my makeup looks so airbrushed!!
  • Colourpop Super Shock Cheek ---"New Lowes" & "Cheerio" : lately, I've been into more brown/bronze/peach blushes, but I'll always love me a good berry blush!! these two are great because I can build it up to be super intense, or leave it to be more subtle since it is a cream. Plus, it's a lot less messy than a powder blush. New Lowes is great if I want something matte, while Cheerio gives off a little extra glow and warmth.
  • Sephora Collection Microsmooth Baked Luminizer---"02 Light Beam": when I would swatch this, it came off kinda ashy on my skin. So, I was hesitant about applying it to my cheeks. But, oh was I pleasantly surprised! It gives off like a rosy duochrome color to the cheeks (at least on me).
  • Wet N Wild Mega Length Mascara: perfect for catching my little bottom lashes!! I'm not real into Wet n wild's mascaras, but this one I love!! It's not super dry but not really wet either.
  • Maybelline Brow Precise Fiber Volumizer--"Medium Brown": this holds my brows in place ALL day!! Also, the little fibers allows to look a bit fuller and thicker!! *I will say that the shade Deep Brown is probably a better fit for me. Medium Brown isn't bad, but it can look a tiny bit ashy if I use too much.*
  • LA Colors Browie Wowie pencil--"Dark": this pencil knocked my freaking socks off!! It's a bit more waxy than the Wet n Wild one that I still love, but I like that because it's still easy to work with!! If you prefer a skinnier pencil to fill your brows in, this is not for you.
  • Kat Von D Liquid Liner---"Trooper": this is one of those products I changed my mind about. When I first used this, I HATED it. It would skip on my eyes and be streaky, but I pulled it back out because I didn't want it to go to waste. Now, I can't stop using it!! the brush tip allows me more control to create thin or thick lines with ease!
  • NYX Intense Butter Gloss--"Chocolate Crepe": a perfect nude lipgloss for deeper skin tones!! Wearing this one made me refall in love with the NYX gloss formula!! They cost less than $10, smells delicious and last a good bit!! honestly, these remind me of the Anastasia lip glosses so much, so if you didn't want to spend the extra $10 for ABH< get these!!
  • L'oreal Infallible Paints Metallics---"Moon Lust" : this just gives whatever lippie you wear a little extra something, something!! The first time I put this on, I was drooling over my lips!! It made my lips look more pouty and juicy, and I love it!
  • Japonesque brushes: I usually stick  to more affordable brands for my makeup brushes (ELF, Ecotools, Wet n Wild, etc.), but this brand is probably the one higher end brand of brushes that I will purchase from!! They're extremely soft and durable and blend out my face makeup beautifully!!
  • Sephora #95 PRO Core Diffuser angled brush: this is marketed as a foundation brush, but I've been loving it for my blush!! It deposits color beautifully on the cheek, and I cannot put it down!
  • Anastasia Beverly Hills liquid lipstick--- "Hudson": I love finding great nudes for my skin tone, and this one is no exception!! It's a peach terracotta nude that is simply delicious to the millionth degree!!
Skincare
  • Origins Ginzing Refreshing Eye Cream to Brighten & Depuff:  another product that I changed my mind about! this has helped my undereyes not be so puffy in the morning and I feel as if I look more awake! now, it can leave a film on your face if you use too much, so be mindful of that.
  • Nugg Hydrating Lip Mask: this has helped my lips not be all chapped and dried out so much!! I apply this while I'm doing my makeup or overnight for a deeper treatment. But what surprised me the most was how thin it is once applied to the lips.
  • Soap & Glory 3-in-1 Daily Detox Vitamin C Facial Wash: this, to me, is like the Clean and Clear Morning Burst cleanser but 20x better!! it deep cleans my skin without making it feel dry and cracked, plus the minty citrus scent is so refreshing and soothing!
  • Soo'AE Revitalizing Rose Mist: I am addicted to this stuff!! It was so soothing & hydrating to my skin. It's extremely similar to the Mario Badescu rosewater spray that I love, but you get alsot double the product for the exact same price!!
  • ELF Lip Exfoliator: I love this thing!! It removes all the nasty dead skin off my lips, leaving them super smooth!! and the fact that it's packaged like a lipstick makes it even more convenient! There's about 6 different scents to choose from , but I recommend the Sweet Cherry and Mint Maniac scents the most!!
  • Equate body washes:  I am in love with these!! They're so moisturizing and smell divine, and even perform better that some of their name brand contenders for a fraction of the price!! And I'm not mad at all at it!
Hair
  • Janet Collection Easy Quick Wig--"Venice": when I haven't been feeling my natural hair, I've been throwing this bad boy on!! It's reminiscent of my hair when its completely picked out into a full afro, which I love! Also, it comes in multiple colors, so I've been diving into those since I'm too afraid to dye my own hair.
Miscellaneous
  • Bai Antioxidant Infusion" I no lie drank like 1-2 of these daily!! It's perfect for me when I want a sweet drink , but not too sweet that my teeth feel coated from all the artificial sugars. My favorite flavor is Burundi Blueberry Lemonade.
  • temptalia.com:  this has made finding dupes to makeup items so easy!! Now, I see why so many people use temptalia out!
  • Don't Go Breaking My Heart---Backstreet Boys:  Ive been so in love with this song!! It's more of a simple song, but it works :)
Well, that is all my favorites for September!  Let me know: what are some of your September favorites and non-favorites? I'd love to know!! As always , thanks for reading and Stay Beautiful!!

Review: Nubian Heritage African Black Soap

Hello, all! Happy new year to everyone!! I came on to give my review on the second out of the three soaps I received from Nubian Heritage---the African Black Soap. Price: $4.99 on NH website and at the Vitamin Shoppe (5 oz size) Specs: This soap claims to be  acne-fighting,  detoxifying and healing.  Also, it was designed for people with   combination, oily, sensitive, and problem skin  , however it has been said that people with ALL skin types can use this as well :) but, back to the specs. Like I mentioned on my review on the Shea Butter soap , on the container is a brief history about how Nubian Heritage got its start and the ayurvedic properties about the key ingredients--which for this product line is shea butter, oats, aloe, palm ash, plaintain peel, tamarind extract and vitamin E. Palm Ash, Tamarind & Plantain Peel--soothing properties ; minimizes the appearance of superficial skin imperfections Oats--brightens and evens skin tone ...

November Favorites

Hello, my loves! Welcome back & if you're new here, welcome! I can't believe that I'm here with my November beauty favorites!! Like the year is legit almost  done. 31 days left before 2018 makes its grand entry. I do have quite a bit this month, so if you're interested in learning all about my  favorites for November,  then just keep reading! SKIN/BODYCARE Eco Tools Konjac Cleansing Sponge : so great for helping spread my cleanser more evenly on my face versus using my hands or a rag! I've also noticed that it has helped my skin be a lot smoother, too! Shea Moisture Superfruit Complex Body Lotion : such a thick, hydrating lotion !! Only thing though is I would change the packaging--maybe opt for a jar instead of a bottle because it's thicker that a traditional lotion, but thinner than a body butter. Nip & Fab Kale Fix Protecting Shot : my skin has been more balanced lately since incorporating this oil!! Since it's colder, my skin tends t...

Hola, beautiful ones!! Welcome back & if you're new here, welcome! Once again, we've reached the end on yet another month, which means monthly favorites! Guys, we're officially 2/3 through 2018!! Crazy that just in 4 short months, it will be 2019!! Slow down, time!! Nonetheless, I have some really good stuff that I've been loving, so if you guys wanna know about my favorites for August, then just keep on  reading! Makeup Colourpop Element of Surprise palette : this is probably one of the most unique palettes I own! When I first saw it, I had no interest in picking it up, but when I saw it in Ulta & swatched the shade Rayon, (metallic dark coral with blue-green duochrome) I fell in love!! I never thought I'd love this palette, but I'm pleasantly surprised! Colourpop x KathleenLights Dream St. Palette :  another great option for a few pops of color + neutral shades! Unlike the Element of Surprise, this one is more a warm toned color scheme .  Also, I...
