Hola, beautiful ones!! Welcome back & if you're new here, welcome! So, this post will be all about the products that I regret purchasing. Now, I'm in NO way, shape or form bashing the brands---these things just either didn't wow me in the way I expected or flat out just did not work. So if you're interested in all the products I regret buying, then keep on reading!!

I've never tried a banana powder before because there were never any that were easily accessible to me. So, when I saw this one at Walmart , it peaked my interest & I decided to try it out. Let me tell you: this powder was applied so splotchy and patchy. It clung to my undereye area and did not blend out flawlessly or anything. NO BUENO.

This isn't a regret per se, but it didn't work out for me. The formula of the foundation was actually really comfortable and lasted a good bit on my skin, but the color was not quite a match. It ran more on the yellow undertone, and I'm more of a red/orange undertone. They do have a shade or two deeper than this one, but I believe it's online exclusive (which is annoying), so one of those shades would probably work fine for me, whenever I decide to order it.
Though it did deliver on the claim of feeling lightweight on the skin, everything else kinda fell flat for me. The foundation matched me color wise , but just never looked fully blended into my skin. I looked like I had on makeup , which I cannot stand. Also, you would definitely need some type of mattifying primer under this , because the foundation on its own won't control the oils peaking through if you're combo or super oily . I appreciate the effort on Rimmel's part to widen the color range, but it's still not quite enough for me . maybe I used the wrong tool to blend it out , so I do plan on retesting it out and maybe my thoughts will change.
I haven't really tried a lot from Physicians Formula because there's nothing really dark enough for me. But this primer did intrigue me. This claims to be an all in one primer : smoothing, mattifying, and a sunscreen (it has SPF 18). Let me tell you----this left me SO greasy and oily!! Any makeup I wear would be completely broken up within a couple hours and I was NOT PLEASED . I've had cheaper primers work way better than this one!!
- Jordana QuickBrow Micro Pencil (retails $2.99)

I was so upset at how little product this pencil offers! I used it up in about 4-5 uses ---though the formula was nice. Most of my brow pencils last me wayyyyyy longer, and this just dropped the ball for me big time.
- Eden BodyWorks Natural Leave In Conditioner (retails $8.59)
I'm a sucker for a bomb leave in conditioner, but this was just god awful. My hair just felt stiff and detangling was just a task and a half. HARD PASS FOR ME.
- Hard Candy Bake, Brighten & Set Loose Finishing Powder in Banana (retails $6.00)

NO BUENO.
- elf Flawless Finish foundation in Coco [retails $6.00]

This isn't a regret per se, but it didn't work out for me. The formula of the foundation was actually really comfortable and lasted a good bit on my skin, but the color was not quite a match. - Rimmel Stay Matte foundation in 504 Deep Mocha (retails $4.97)
Though it did deliver on the claim of feeling lightweight on the skin, everything else kinda fell flat for me. The foundation matched me color wise , but just never looked fully blended into my skin. - Physicians Formula Insta Ready Primer (retails $12.99)

- Essence I Heart Stage Eyeshadow Base (retails $3.49)

Having oily eyelids, I have to have a a great shadow primer to help my eyeshadow looks last from the moment I apply the shadow to the moment I take it off. So, I came across this one in Target's clearance section (I frequent there often lol ), and saw this guy for a whopping $1.60. I've heard awesome reviews about it, so I was even more excited to try it. I was SO disappointed. Every time I applied this to my eyes, no matter how well I set it, my shadows were full of creases by the end of the day.
Well, that is all for this post ! Let me know: what are some of your regret purchases? Do you like the ones that I mentioned? I'd love to know!! As always , thanks for reading and Stay Beautiful!!
