Andrea Renee Made Me Buy It

Hey, beauties & welcome back! If you're new to the blog, I welcome you! So, today as you see the title, we're talking about all the products Andrea Renee made me buy! If you missed my first one, when I talked about all the products that Juicyjas made me buy, click here to check that out!  Now, I absolutely love my  Youtube auntie! She comes off as humble and laid back, which is refreshing in the crazy drama filled world that is YouTube lately! The past couple years, she's definitely played a role in influencing my beauty purchases.  So if y'all want to find out what items those are,  just keep reading!

  • NYX #Nofilter Finishing Powder---"Deep Golden": I absolutely STAND for this powder!! It gives my skin this satin sheen, almost like this healthy glow! It isn't cakey or heavy on my skin, so I find that I can use it year round!!  Whether I have on a full face, minimal makeup or no makeup at all, this has never failed me!
  • Sephora Microsmooth Baked Powder---"Deep Ebony": essentially the more matte version of the NYX #Nofilter powder!! It's lightweight in feel, but sets my foundation down beautifully!
  • Sephora Collection blush---"I'm Quite Tipsy": I actually had this for a while before she started talking about it. So I pulled it back out, and fell back in love!! I'm mid key annoyed Sephora doesn't sell this shade anymore, because it was such a gorgeous deep mauve color I thought deeper skin tones would enjoy!
  • ELF Primer Infused Blush----"Always Spicy": she has talked about this blush so freaking much , I knew that I had to have it!! And I have to say.......she was so RIGHT!! It's a stunning brick brown that gives such a deep warm flush to the cheek that I'm in love with!
  • Milani Baked Blush---"Red Vino": though I love all the Milani backed blushes, Red Vino is my #1! I never thought I would love red blush on my skin, but it's the best for that pinched or bitten look without looking crazy!! If you're lighter, use a lighter hand because these are very pigmented and glittery.
  • Sephora Spice Market Blush Palette: Now if you don't care for a bunch of single blushes in your collection, you NEED this in your life!! This is the 2nd blush palette Sephora released (there's about 3 or 4 total now) , and it's perfect if you like more warm toned blushes or if you're darker!!
  • ELF Bronzer---"Deep": this is more of an everyday bronzer on my skin, but I really like it!! For a $2 bronzer, it works wayyy better than the price! It's not matte, but not overly glittery, more like a satin finish. I'll throw this on for my no-makeup makeup looks or in my crease to give my eyes a little something extra!
  • Covergirl Chocoholic Bronzer: it's more of a bronzer topper, but still it works so well!!  Plus the fact that it's chocolate scented isn't too bad either =)
  • Too Faced Melted Latex Liquid Lipstick---"Strange Love": a beautiful greige nude for deeper skin tones!! Now, I do love a nice matte lip , but lately I've been crazy about glossy lips! I was never interested in these until I saw these in TJ Maxx a while ago, and remember Andrea raving about this shade in one of her older videos. So, I picked it up to try it and fell in love!!
  • Bare Minerals Gen Nude Patent Lip Lacquer---"Perf": a bomb nude brown gloss for deep skin! I love the glass like look it leaves on my lips!
  • ABH Lip Gloss---"Sepia": another perfect nude gloss from deeper skin tones!! I love the formula of ABH glosses, so to find a shade that I can wear every single day is even better for me!! And surprisingly, they're aren't too expensive for a higher end gloss!
  • Korres Wild Rose Vitamin C Active Brightening Oil: she talks so much about this brand and how it has changed her skin! So, on a random tri monthly Sephora trip forever ago , I had seen a set that had the cleanser, priming moisturizer and this oil. Plus it was 50% off , so of course it had to come home with me!!  This oil is AMAZING!! I would for sure say this has played a part in evening out my skin color and fading my dark spots!!
  • Peach and Pearl brushes: I remember when she did her initial launch video about her own brush set she created with this brand and how happy I was for her! I honestly took a while to pick it up because I have so many brushes that I already own and love, but I finally got my hands on them late last year, and they are soooooo soft!!
There's a million more products I'm sure 😅, but I think I'll end it here. Let me know: what products has Andrea made you try out?? Also, what influencer should I do next??

Thanks so much for reading, and like always, Stay Beautiful!!

Review: Nubian Heritage African Black Soap

Hello, all! Happy new year to everyone!! I came on to give my review on the second out of the three soaps I received from Nubian Heritage---the African Black Soap. Price: $4.99 on NH website and at the Vitamin Shoppe (5 oz size) Specs: This soap claims to be  acne-fighting,  detoxifying and healing.  Also, it was designed for people with   combination, oily, sensitive, and problem skin  , however it has been said that people with ALL skin types can use this as well :) but, back to the specs. Like I mentioned on my review on the Shea Butter soap , on the container is a brief history about how Nubian Heritage got its start and the ayurvedic properties about the key ingredients--which for this product line is shea butter, oats, aloe, palm ash, plaintain peel, tamarind extract and vitamin E. Palm Ash, Tamarind & Plantain Peel--soothing properties ; minimizes the appearance of superficial skin imperfections Oats--brightens and evens skin tone ...

November Favorites

Hello, my loves! Welcome back & if you're new here, welcome! I can't believe that I'm here with my November beauty favorites!! Like the year is legit almost  done. 31 days left before 2018 makes its grand entry. I do have quite a bit this month, so if you're interested in learning all about my  favorites for November,  then just keep reading! SKIN/BODYCARE Eco Tools Konjac Cleansing Sponge : so great for helping spread my cleanser more evenly on my face versus using my hands or a rag! I've also noticed that it has helped my skin be a lot smoother, too! Shea Moisture Superfruit Complex Body Lotion : such a thick, hydrating lotion !! Only thing though is I would change the packaging--maybe opt for a jar instead of a bottle because it's thicker that a traditional lotion, but thinner than a body butter. Nip & Fab Kale Fix Protecting Shot : my skin has been more balanced lately since incorporating this oil!! Since it's colder, my skin tends t...

August Favorites 2018.

Hola, beautiful ones!! Welcome back & if you're new here, welcome! Once again, we've reached the end on yet another month, which means monthly favorites! Guys, we're officially 2/3 through 2018!! Crazy that just in 4 short months, it will be 2019!! Slow down, time!! Nonetheless, I have some really good stuff that I've been loving, so if you guys wanna know about my favorites for August, then just keep on  reading! Makeup Colourpop Element of Surprise palette : this is probably one of the most unique palettes I own! When I first saw it, I had no interest in picking it up, but when I saw it in Ulta & swatched the shade Rayon, (metallic dark coral with blue-green duochrome) I fell in love!! I never thought I'd love this palette, but I'm pleasantly surprised! Colourpop x KathleenLights Dream St. Palette :  another great option for a few pops of color + neutral shades! Unlike the Element of Surprise, this one is more a warm toned color scheme .  Also, I...
