Juicyjas Made Me Buy It

Hey, beauties & welcome back! If you're new to the blog, I welcome you! So, today as you see the title, we're talking about all the products Juicyjas made me buy! Inspired by the "Youtube made me buy it" tag, I was debating on which Youtuber I would model this after aside from popular choices like Jaclyn Hill or KathleenLights and thought she was perfect! I love her videos and the fact that we share the same name, the same birthday and live in the same region of states makes me and even bigger fan of her! So , if y'all want to find out what items I own because of her & what I think of them, just keep reading!
  • NYX Slide on Glide on lip liners: She talks about the colors Sugar Glass and Nude Suede Shoes in many of her videos, and I knew I had to try these. Let me say, I love these!! They remind me a lot of the Colourpop lippie pencils (easy to glide on the lips and long lasting). My personal favorite one is definitely Urban Cafe, a perfect chocolate brown that warms up any lip look! They've also expanded their color selection, as well!
  • NYX Sweet Cheeks Blush palette: this honestly restarted my love for blush palettes! Like her, I love that you get so many different shade options in this! You got pink, orange, berry, nude, shimmer, matte....what else could one possible need??? I think just about all skin tones can find something to use in this palette!* I personally would like for NYX to create maybe two more versions of this--one for super fair skin tones and a bold bright version for deep/dark skin tones.*
  • Kokie 618 brush: to me, this is the love child of the Morphe M439 and the Real Techniques powder brush! It blends out liquid products quickly like the Morphe brush, but packs and diffuses out powder like the RT brush! I'm excited to try out other brushes from this brand!!
  • Morphe M439: before the Kokie brush came on the market, this was the only brush she would use for foundation in all her tutorials. I actually had wanted to try out Morphe for over a year, but never pulled the trigger to order online because the shipping threshold is a bit insane for my taste. But, since they're now carried at ULTA (my second home lol), I thought it was the perfect chance to try out some Morphe goodies! Since having this brush, my foundation blends out in about 10-15 seconds and looks impeccable!!
  • ULTA Full Coverage Waterproof Concealer: I actually owned this concealer for a while before she had raved about it, so I pulled it back out my stash and fell back in love!! It's not too creamy but not too thick either! It gives great coverage with minimal creasing (which is important for me and my dark circles). I do wish the shade range was a bit larger, though (since I usually buy both a highlight shade and skin tone shade in my concealers).
  • ULTA Ultra Slim Brow Pencil: inspired by her one brand tutorial using all ULTA brand products, I decided to try out this pencil to see if it was similar to the ever beloved ABH Brow Wiz . I'm happy to report that we have yet another dupe, folks!! I love how precise this pencil is  and how easily it blends out!
  • L'Oreal Infallible Blender Sponge: In her first or second "affordable brushes & makeup tools" video, she had talked abut how this sponge was a pretty close dupe to the infamous yet beloved Beauty Blender. I actually have tested this sponge vs the original pink Beautyblender, and I have to agree with her! They're both squishy when damp and blend out liquid products with ease. Though the shapes are totally different, I actually prefer the L'Oreal sponge a little more for that reason! The more hourglass shape is easier for me to control and grip when doing my makeup!
  • C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip Shine: I actually used these back in high school on and off, but once she started raving about them, it reminded how much I loved them!! (S/o to my best friend for getting me hip!!) But, back to my original thought: these really do hydrate your lips and make them feel amazing!! Plus they help freshen your breath??? it's a win!!
  • Charcoal teeth whitening powder: when she talked about how this helps maintain the whiteness of her teeth, I knew I had to try it out for myself.  I mean, who doesn't want nice pearly white teeth on the regular???  Currently, I use the Redmond Earth Powder in the Peppermint flavor & honestly, this one is just okay. I won't say that this has made my teeth whiter just yet, but it does help my mouth feel cleaner overall!
Well, that is all my Juicyjas recommendations! Let me know: what are some of your Juicyjas recommended items that you love? as well as what Youtuber should I do next? I'd love to know!! As always , thanks for reading and Stay Beautiful!!

Review: Nubian Heritage African Black Soap

Hello, all! Happy new year to everyone!! I came on to give my review on the second out of the three soaps I received from Nubian Heritage---the African Black Soap. Price: $4.99 on NH website and at the Vitamin Shoppe (5 oz size) Specs: This soap claims to be  acne-fighting,  detoxifying and healing.  Also, it was designed for people with   combination, oily, sensitive, and problem skin  , however it has been said that people with ALL skin types can use this as well :) but, back to the specs. Like I mentioned on my review on the Shea Butter soap , on the container is a brief history about how Nubian Heritage got its start and the ayurvedic properties about the key ingredients--which for this product line is shea butter, oats, aloe, palm ash, plaintain peel, tamarind extract and vitamin E. Palm Ash, Tamarind & Plantain Peel--soothing properties ; minimizes the appearance of superficial skin imperfections Oats--brightens and evens skin tone ...

November Favorites

Hello, my loves! Welcome back & if you're new here, welcome! I can't believe that I'm here with my November beauty favorites!! Like the year is legit almost  done. 31 days left before 2018 makes its grand entry. I do have quite a bit this month, so if you're interested in learning all about my  favorites for November,  then just keep reading! SKIN/BODYCARE Eco Tools Konjac Cleansing Sponge : so great for helping spread my cleanser more evenly on my face versus using my hands or a rag! I've also noticed that it has helped my skin be a lot smoother, too! Shea Moisture Superfruit Complex Body Lotion : such a thick, hydrating lotion !! Only thing though is I would change the packaging--maybe opt for a jar instead of a bottle because it's thicker that a traditional lotion, but thinner than a body butter. Nip & Fab Kale Fix Protecting Shot : my skin has been more balanced lately since incorporating this oil!! Since it's colder, my skin tends t...

Hola, beautiful ones!! Welcome back & if you're new here, welcome! Once again, we've reached the end on yet another month, which means monthly favorites! Guys, we're officially 2/3 through 2018!! Crazy that just in 4 short months, it will be 2019!! Slow down, time!! Nonetheless, I have some really good stuff that I've been loving, so if you guys wanna know about my favorites for August, then just keep on  reading! Makeup Colourpop Element of Surprise palette : this is probably one of the most unique palettes I own! When I first saw it, I had no interest in picking it up, but when I saw it in Ulta & swatched the shade Rayon, (metallic dark coral with blue-green duochrome) I fell in love!! I never thought I'd love this palette, but I'm pleasantly surprised! Colourpop x KathleenLights Dream St. Palette :  another great option for a few pops of color + neutral shades! Unlike the Element of Surprise, this one is more a warm toned color scheme .  Also, I...
