Hello, my loves! Welcome back & if you're new here, welcome! It's favorites time once more!! February goes so fast every year, but I'm excited because that means March is here (which means my birthday's coming close). So if you want to know my favorites for the month of February, then just keep reading!
- Dove Go Fresh spray antiperspirant---Pear & Aloe Vera: so fresh & clean yet delicious!! It's not so fruity that it gives me a headache, either. Plus the 1/4 moisturizing cream addition helps to not break my underarms out!
- Shawn Mendes Signature perfume: I've been wearing this perfume out!! It's musky yet fresh and slightly sweet!! I also like that it's a unisex fragrance, so both men and women will love it!! for sure will be getting the second release also!
- Dermasil Lotion: another Dollar Tree gem!! I remember discovering this lotion in college and as shook then about how well this moisturized my skin!!I've tried more expensive lotions that don't work nearly as weel as thins one, and the fact it costs me $1 makes it even better!!
MAKEUP
- Maybelline Vivid Hot Lacquer---"Unreal", "Charmer": these remind me of the ABH glosses so much! They're opaque, pigmented and long lasting! You certainly don't have to wear a liner or lipstick underneath if you didn't want to with these glosses! (Unreal is a brown toned nude; Charmer is a peach pink toned nude)
- Wet n Wild Coloricon Lip Glosses---"Aquarius", "Pout of Paradise": when I wasn't rocking the Maybelline glosses, I was rocking these! They aren't sticky or thick at all, so they are mad comfortable to wear the whole day!! and to be under $5?? #winning (Aquarius is a pink toned nude; Pout of Paradise is a pumpkin orange)
- Revlon Super Lustrous lipstick---"Brazilian Tan": I've worn this only a handful of times, but WOWWWWWW. It's a gorgeous tan nude for just about every skin tone, but specifically darker skin tones!! Plus, this lipstick reminded me how classic Revlon is and that I should give them a little more attention.
- Anastasia Beverly Hills Matte lipstick---"Brandy" : on the dayas I was feeling a little extra, this was my go to lip color! It's described as a "crimson brown", which I can see why! I'ts a perfect blend of red and brown that is perfect for me!
- Black Opal True Color Perfecting Primer--"Deep": I love this for my "no make up" makeup days!! It's a self adjusting primer, so hen I wanna look a little more together and don't have a ton of time, I reached for this!! I'd apply it like a moisturizer till it adjusted to my skin, slap on powder to set it and I was good!
- Makeup Revolution Fast Base Foundation Stick : another "no makeup" makeup favorite!! It's not thick and heavy on my skin like most stick foundations can be, but still gives me good coverage!! I bounce between F16 and F17 as my foundation color, and F18 is perfect for cream contour!!
- Coastal Scents Blush Pots---"Bronze Protege", "Ruby Rose", "Bravado": I often forget about how good Coastal Scents actually is, but these sure reminded me!! They're pigmented and are long lasting aslo!! I'd been wanting to try out the Colourpop powder blushes for the longest, but with these around, I may not need to!! Granted , they are smaller in size, but not in performance!! (Bronze Protege is deep chocolate that is bomb for a bronzer on me, Bravado is a deep rose, and Ruby Rose is a medium rose.)
- Ofra Cosmetics single shadow---"Syrup": the obsession with this shade is so real!! Such a stunning maple bronze that is perfect for a highlighter on deep skin!!
- Ofra Cosmetics blush---"Melon":a true watermelon pink that's perfect to give you that pinched look to the cheek!! Be careful though: too much will generate clown vibes!!
- Too Faced Peanut Butter & Jelly palette: I remember when this palette was so hard to get your hands on! But like other products, more items were released, trends changed and people forgot all about this palette. Me included 😥 but lately, I've been wanting more to play with what makeup is in my collection vs. always buying new stuff, and omgosh, I'm back in love with this palette!! The compact size makes it perfect to travel with, and the mix of neutral and fun colors is a perfect balance!
- Real Techniques B03 brush: this collection of brushes did catch my eye, but they were way too pricey and I was not paying that for brushes! But I happened to see this marked down a lot at Walgreens, so of course I had ti get it then!! I wish they had more brushes from this line at the store, because it's super soft and fluffy!! and it doesn't shed at all!
- Kokie 631 brush: one of the best angled face brushes for contouring!! I don't contour a lot, but when I did this month, I could not stop reaching for this brush!!
- Morphe M444: this blends out my foundation soooooo fast! likely since the brush hairs are shorter than most buffing brushes, but it's so good!!
- Unicorn Highlight brush (mine was actually purchased from Dollar Tree, but I can't find it online. So I linked a brush that is similar): perfect to apply my highlighters!! I had been debating of picking up the A23 brush from ABH for a while, but affordbale, good quality brushes like these have stopped me from doing that. And like I mentioned, to find it at Dollar Tree of all places??? yes please!!
- NYX #02 brush: I don't really care for any type of fan brush but this one I can get down with!! It's great for dusting away loose setting powder , as well as applying bronzer!!
- Someone To Love----Jon B./ Babyface: before Robin Thicke and Justin Timberlake, there was Jon B. I hate that he doesn't et the recognition he so deserves, because He's one of a kind. and this song proves that 💕
- Breathe---Backstreet Boys: they are just doing their thing!! and the fact that this song is completely acapella really shows their talent!
Well, that is all my favorites for February! Let me know: what are some of your favorites and non-favorites from this month? I'd love to know!! As always , thanks for reading and Stay Beautiful!!
