November Favorites

Hello, my loves! Welcome back & if you're new here, welcome! I can't believe that I'm here with my November beauty favorites!! Like the year is legit almost  done. 31 days left before 2018 makes its grand entry. I do have quite a bit this month, so if you're interested in learning all about my  favorites for November,  then just keep reading!

SKIN/BODYCARE

  • Eco Tools Konjac Cleansing Sponge: so great for helping spread my cleanser more evenly on my face versus using my hands or a rag! I've also noticed that it has helped my skin be a lot smoother, too!
  • Shea Moisture Superfruit Complex Body Lotion: such a thick, hydrating lotion !! Only thing though is I would change the packaging--maybe opt for a jar instead of a bottle because it's thicker that a traditional lotion, but thinner than a body butter.
  • Nip & Fab Kale Fix Protecting Shot: my skin has been more balanced lately since incorporating this oil!! Since it's colder, my skin tends to get more dry, but still super oily around my cheeks and nose & having this oil in my skin care routine, I haven't been really having that issue!!

HAIR

  • Maui Moisture Heal + Hydrate Shea Butter Raw Oil: I've been using this oil nonstop on my hair! From taking down my styles to hot oil treatments to deep conditioning, this oil has been giving everything I ever needed without being too light or heavy!

  • Garnier Fructis Curl Scrunch Controlling Gel: I haven't used a Garnier product since my relaxer days, so when I received this product for free from Influenster, I was a whole lot of hesitant. The smell was pretty good (per usual of Garnier products), but the texture was pretty light weight , and most lightweight gels don't do any justice to define my curls. To my surprise, my hair stayed defined the entire week and I was in love! And it didn't feel crunchy!!

  • La Bella Lots of Curls Styling GelI randomly found this at my local CVS and decided to give it a whirl, and I was blown away!! Like the Garnier gel, my curls stayed defined yet soft the whole week, but I like this gel's texture a lot more (it's a bit thicker and stickier). This Latin based brand is also very affordable, so I'm curious to try out other products from this brand!

MAKEUP

  • Maybelline Master Prime Blur +Smooth Primer: I had this primer in my collection for a while and couldn't really remember how I felt about it! So, I stuck it in my everyday makeup drawer to really test it out, and I haven't been able to put it down!! It's not a typical silicone primer, but it makes my skin feel and look really smooth!!

  • LA Colors Contouring Palette--"Light/Medium": I cannot believe how good this is!! The palette is definitely more of a natural type of finish on the skin, but it's fairly buildable! The bronzer gives me a nice , natural warmth to the skin, while the highlighter is a subtle champagne that is perfect for everyday!

  • Real Techniques Blush Brush: I'm in love with the shape of this brush!! The fluffy pointed head makes it perfect for blush, but lately I've been apply my bronzer with this & have been loving the results!!

  • ELF Complexion Brush: ELF has been one of my ride or die brands for beauty products! But the thing that I love most from them are the brushes! They are so affordable , but work way better than the price point! This particular brush is great for bronzer, blush and all over face powder, so you don't per se have to grab for different brushes when doing your makeup!

  • NYX Control Freak Eyebrow Gel: I never thought I would love any brow gel as much as my Wet n Wild MegaClear, but this is coming super close!! It holds my brows in place without making them feel hard and crispy!

  • Colourpop Yes, Please! palette: This palette is perfect if you love warm shades!! I've created so many different looks, both glam and everyday, since I got this palette!! #obsessed

  • Collab Makeup Palette Pro in "Best of the Day": this is seriously a mini version of the ABH Modern Renaissance palette! The mattes blend out beautiful, the shimmers are buttery , and it's fairly affordable!! So if you loved the color scheme of the ABH palette but didn't want to cough up ABH money, head to your Sally's Beauty Supply and pick this bad boy up! Roughly 1/2 the shade selection for 1/3 of the price!

  • Sephora Collection Cream Lip Stain--#25 Coral Sunset: this has been the perfect burnt red orange shade for the fall time, as well as for darker skin tones! The formula is a comfortable matte with little transfer, so I definitely want to try out more colors!!

  • MAC Mini Lipstick---Chili: if you were searching for a burnt red orange lippie, but despise liquid lipsticks, look no further!! I'm not super into MAC lipsticks since the drugstore tends to do a great job at those, but this color is so unique and compliments my skin tone!! Plus, MAC has started selling mini sizes of some of their popular shades & Chili is one of them!

  • NYX Retractable Lipliner---"Cocoa": this has been my go to brown lipliner!! I actually used it up completely THIS MONTH, but it's so creamy and very long lasting!! Plus the fact that it's retractable makes it even better!

MISCELLANEOUS

Gold Earrings: whether hoops, studs or dangles---I've been such a sucker for gold lately!! Personally, I'm more of a silver jewelry lover, but gold has just been doing it for me!

Well, to the end we have arrived!! Hopefully you've found some good products within this list to try out for yourselves! Let me know some of your  favorites or not so favorites from November! Thanks for reading, and like always, Stay Beautiful!

Review: Nubian Heritage African Black Soap

Hello, all! Happy new year to everyone!! I came on to give my review on the second out of the three soaps I received from Nubian Heritage---the African Black Soap. Price: $4.99 on NH website and at the Vitamin Shoppe (5 oz size) Specs: This soap claims to be  acne-fighting,  detoxifying and healing.  Also, it was designed for people with   combination, oily, sensitive, and problem skin  , however it has been said that people with ALL skin types can use this as well :) but, back to the specs. Like I mentioned on my review on the Shea Butter soap , on the container is a brief history about how Nubian Heritage got its start and the ayurvedic properties about the key ingredients--which for this product line is shea butter, oats, aloe, palm ash, plaintain peel, tamarind extract and vitamin E. Palm Ash, Tamarind & Plantain Peel--soothing properties ; minimizes the appearance of superficial skin imperfections Oats--brightens and evens skin tone ...

Hola, beautiful ones!! Welcome back & if you're new here, welcome! Once again, we've reached the end on yet another month, which means monthly favorites! Guys, we're officially 2/3 through 2018!! Crazy that just in 4 short months, it will be 2019!! Slow down, time!! Nonetheless, I have some really good stuff that I've been loving, so if you guys wanna know about my favorites for August, then just keep on  reading! Makeup Colourpop Element of Surprise palette : this is probably one of the most unique palettes I own! When I first saw it, I had no interest in picking it up, but when I saw it in Ulta & swatched the shade Rayon, (metallic dark coral with blue-green duochrome) I fell in love!! I never thought I'd love this palette, but I'm pleasantly surprised! Colourpop x KathleenLights Dream St. Palette :  another great option for a few pops of color + neutral shades! Unlike the Element of Surprise, this one is more a warm toned color scheme .  Also, I...
