Beauty Supply 5: Eyeshadow Palettes

Hey, all you beauties! Welcome back and if you're new around these parts, I welcome you! Today is going to be another installment in my Beauty Supply 5 series! If you've missed any of my previous posts in this series, click right here to catch up!! As you see by the title,
today is all about eyeshadow palettes! Though I do love my singles, I'll always be a palette girl!!  They inspire me to be more creative with my looks (I can definitely be a creature of habit in that department).  So, if you guys are interested in my eye palette suggestions, then keep on reading!

  • Colourpop "Yes, Please!" : this delicious warm toned beauty broke the internet, as well as everyone's wallets. To have 12 fiery shades in one palette for $16??? #Yesplease!!  I believe this is still Colourpop's best selling fixed palette to date! Only small gripes I have with this palette: 1) I wish there was a mirror, and 2) I wish the packaging wasn't white.
  • Wet n Wild Comfort Zone: such an OG , classic palette! If you watch any beauty vlogger on Youtube or read any beauty blog, 98% of them have raved about this palette at some point. I love the variety of neutrals and pops of color this palette offers!! They recently revamped their palettes and now offer 10 pans vs. the original 8 , as well as both mattes and shimmers!! and to still be less than $10??? Yes, Wet n Wild!!
  • COL-LAB Makeup "Best of the Day":  this Sally Beauty exclusive is fairly hit or miss across the board, but the thing that impressed me the most was the eyeshadow palette!! this one is literally Modern Renaissance for like 1/3 of the price! the shimmers are beautiful and metallic, and the mattes blend out very smooth and easy!  it's perfect to take for travel as well!!
  • LA Colors 16 color Eyeshadow Palette---"Sweet":  though this is an all shimmer palette, holy crap!! These are super smooth and foiled  looking, yet they last such a long time on the eye! The fallout is very minimal, so they won't crumble into pieces on the eye!
  • Coastal Scents Revealed Palettes:  another great option if you want a mix of mattes and shimmers in one palette!! The shimmers are a bit more crumbly, but still are pretty easy to work with; on the other hand, the mattes are pigmented and easy to blend out!!  These remind me so much of the Urban Decay Naked palettes without the super hefty price tag. Though the palettes are a bit wider and longer, they do not disappoint!
Well, we've reached the end !! Hopefully you've found some good products within this list to try out for yourselves! Let me know: what are some of your favorite affordable eyeshadow palettes?? Thanks for reading, and like always, Stay Beautiful!

Review: Nubian Heritage African Black Soap

Hello, all! Happy new year to everyone!! I came on to give my review on the second out of the three soaps I received from Nubian Heritage---the African Black Soap. Price: $4.99 on NH website and at the Vitamin Shoppe (5 oz size) Specs: This soap claims to be  acne-fighting,  detoxifying and healing.  Also, it was designed for people with   combination, oily, sensitive, and problem skin  , however it has been said that people with ALL skin types can use this as well :) but, back to the specs. Like I mentioned on my review on the Shea Butter soap , on the container is a brief history about how Nubian Heritage got its start and the ayurvedic properties about the key ingredients--which for this product line is shea butter, oats, aloe, palm ash, plaintain peel, tamarind extract and vitamin E. Palm Ash, Tamarind & Plantain Peel--soothing properties ; minimizes the appearance of superficial skin imperfections Oats--brightens and evens skin tone ...

November Favorites

Hello, my loves! Welcome back & if you're new here, welcome! I can't believe that I'm here with my November beauty favorites!! Like the year is legit almost  done. 31 days left before 2018 makes its grand entry. I do have quite a bit this month, so if you're interested in learning all about my  favorites for November,  then just keep reading! SKIN/BODYCARE Eco Tools Konjac Cleansing Sponge : so great for helping spread my cleanser more evenly on my face versus using my hands or a rag! I've also noticed that it has helped my skin be a lot smoother, too! Shea Moisture Superfruit Complex Body Lotion : such a thick, hydrating lotion !! Only thing though is I would change the packaging--maybe opt for a jar instead of a bottle because it's thicker that a traditional lotion, but thinner than a body butter. Nip & Fab Kale Fix Protecting Shot : my skin has been more balanced lately since incorporating this oil!! Since it's colder, my skin tends t...

Hola, beautiful ones!! Welcome back & if you're new here, welcome! Once again, we've reached the end on yet another month, which means monthly favorites! Guys, we're officially 2/3 through 2018!! Crazy that just in 4 short months, it will be 2019!! Slow down, time!! Nonetheless, I have some really good stuff that I've been loving, so if you guys wanna know about my favorites for August, then just keep on  reading! Makeup Colourpop Element of Surprise palette : this is probably one of the most unique palettes I own! When I first saw it, I had no interest in picking it up, but when I saw it in Ulta & swatched the shade Rayon, (metallic dark coral with blue-green duochrome) I fell in love!! I never thought I'd love this palette, but I'm pleasantly surprised! Colourpop x KathleenLights Dream St. Palette :  another great option for a few pops of color + neutral shades! Unlike the Element of Surprise, this one is more a warm toned color scheme .  Also, I...
