Summer ipsy bags!!

Hey, all!!
I'm slowly back in the swing of things here, so I'm coming with a review on not one, not two, but THREE ipsy bags (Swim into Beauty, Summer Lovin and Prep School). Like my other reviews, I talk about each product and whether I would repurchase or not. So, without delay, lets get into it!!JUNE: SWIM INTO BEAUTY
The productsn I receieved in this bag are:
-IT Cosmetics Universal Brow Pencil in Universal Taupe: the actual pencil is lack luster for me. I don't like how dry the pencil applies. I really have to work to get the product built up how I like. But the spoolie side.....AHMAZING!! It definitely gets my brows brushed up in line!! However, I probably will not buy a full size because my NYC pencil does a pretty great job of filling in my brows and it's less than a Buck!!
-Altchek Depuff Eye Pads: like many of the other sample skin products, I do not feel I can give a honest review unless in use it on the regular .
-Trestique Mini Shadow Crayon in Venetian Gold: I still haven't played with it yet, but the swatch was very creamy and pigmented and I think I have a look I want to incorporate it in, so look out for that : )
-Smashbox Photo Finish foundation primer: I have a couple more samples of it, and it is a nice feeling primer on my skin..However, I doubt I would get a full size because I have since found drugstore primers that work just as good if not better.
-Formula X Polish in Power Source: such a pretty color that is perfect for spring/summer --or year round bc I just love Polish!
*overall, I would rate this bag 3.5/5
JULY: SUMMER LOVIN
The products I received are:
-Octavio La Playa Sea Salt Spray: I haven't gotten to play with this yet due to my hair being in a protective style. Maybe once I wear my real hair again, I will test it out. I'm just uncertain how it would work in colder seasons.
- Eau Thermale Avene soapless cleansing gel (for oily, blemish prone skin) : I actually like this cleanser!! I feel it cleansed my face without drying it out too much and I LOVE the smell!! Its very oceany and salty but it is AHMAZING.
-Jelly Pong Pong 2-in-1 eyeliner/shadow crayon: I also haven't played with this either, but it is a gorgeous bronze that can be used year round!
-Be a Bombshell lip balm in Ruby: nice balm, nothing super spectacular. I think lighter skin tones would get more color payoff with it.
-Aurora Gel Effect nail polish in 4 Alarm Fire: another great summer color, but on me lasted about 3 days (like other polishes). I will continue to test it out.
*overall: 3.75/5
AUGUST: PREP SCHOOL (probably my most favorite bag!!)
The products I received in this bag:
-Marsk Eye shadow brush: very nice quality brush! This is my 2nd product from Marsk and so far, I am impressed!!
-Hikari lip gloss in Merlot:  very opaque and pigmented!!  Plus the color?? Beautiful!! It lasts a bit longer than other glosses, which is another plus.
-PencilMeIn eyeliner in Boysenberry : such a gorgeous blue!! I plan on trying it out as a eyeliner and as a lipliner to see which I like it as more.
-Skone Cosmetics Eye/Lip liner in Wine: ohhhhh I love!!!!  Such a beautiful color for fall time especially!!
-Marc Anthony Argan Oil: I plan on using this as a treatment when I wear my real hair again, but I have high hopes for this!!

*overall: 5/5!!

Well that wraps it up for this long awaited review on these bags!! Stay tuned for September and October's bags!! Thanks so much for reading and like always, Stay Beautiful!

Review: Nubian Heritage African Black Soap

Hello, all! Happy new year to everyone!! I came on to give my review on the second out of the three soaps I received from Nubian Heritage---the African Black Soap. Price: $4.99 on NH website and at the Vitamin Shoppe (5 oz size) Specs: This soap claims to be  acne-fighting,  detoxifying and healing.  Also, it was designed for people with   combination, oily, sensitive, and problem skin  , however it has been said that people with ALL skin types can use this as well :) but, back to the specs. Like I mentioned on my review on the Shea Butter soap , on the container is a brief history about how Nubian Heritage got its start and the ayurvedic properties about the key ingredients--which for this product line is shea butter, oats, aloe, palm ash, plaintain peel, tamarind extract and vitamin E. Palm Ash, Tamarind & Plantain Peel--soothing properties ; minimizes the appearance of superficial skin imperfections Oats--brightens and evens skin tone ...

November Favorites

Hello, my loves! Welcome back & if you're new here, welcome! I can't believe that I'm here with my November beauty favorites!! Like the year is legit almost  done. 31 days left before 2018 makes its grand entry. I do have quite a bit this month, so if you're interested in learning all about my  favorites for November,  then just keep reading! SKIN/BODYCARE Eco Tools Konjac Cleansing Sponge : so great for helping spread my cleanser more evenly on my face versus using my hands or a rag! I've also noticed that it has helped my skin be a lot smoother, too! Shea Moisture Superfruit Complex Body Lotion : such a thick, hydrating lotion !! Only thing though is I would change the packaging--maybe opt for a jar instead of a bottle because it's thicker that a traditional lotion, but thinner than a body butter. Nip & Fab Kale Fix Protecting Shot : my skin has been more balanced lately since incorporating this oil!! Since it's colder, my skin tends t...

August Favorites 2018.

Hola, beautiful ones!! Welcome back & if you're new here, welcome! Once again, we've reached the end on yet another month, which means monthly favorites! Guys, we're officially 2/3 through 2018!! Crazy that just in 4 short months, it will be 2019!! Slow down, time!! Nonetheless, I have some really good stuff that I've been loving, so if you guys wanna know about my favorites for August, then just keep on  reading! Makeup Colourpop Element of Surprise palette : this is probably one of the most unique palettes I own! When I first saw it, I had no interest in picking it up, but when I saw it in Ulta & swatched the shade Rayon, (metallic dark coral with blue-green duochrome) I fell in love!! I never thought I'd love this palette, but I'm pleasantly surprised! Colourpop x KathleenLights Dream St. Palette :  another great option for a few pops of color + neutral shades! Unlike the Element of Surprise, this one is more a warm toned color scheme .  Also, I...
