Review : Nubian Heritage Indian Hemp & Haitian Vetiver Body Wash

Hey, ya'll ! Long time, no speak. I've been a very busy bee, but I'm finally ready to get back on these good reviews. As you see based on the title, I'm reviewing the Indian Hemp & Haitian Vetiver body wash.

Price:  3 oz sample size for $2.99 on NH website, full size [13 oz] for $11.99 on NH website/$11.49 at the Vitamin Shoppe

Specs: This body wash claims to be anti-inflammatory, moisturizing and healing. Also, it was designed for people with oily, troubled and dry skin , however it has been said that people with other skin types can use this as well :) but, back to the specs. Like I mentioned on my review on the Shea Butter soap, on the container is a brief history about how Nubian Heritage got its start and the ayurvedic properties about the key ingredients--which for this product line is neem oil and vetiver.
Neem oil is actually the basis of the practice Ayurveda, an ancient Indian practice of natural healing, while vetiver is used in tropical communities to create calming and soothing remedies for the body.

Ingredients: Cocamidopropyl Betaine (Coconut Oil soap), sodium lauryl lactylate (Palm Kernel) , glycol stearate (Palm Kernel), stearamide AMP (Palm Kernel), cannabis sativa (Hemp Seed Oil), Shea Butter, deioninzed water, essential oil blend, panthenol (Vitamin B-5),silk proteins, vetiveria zizanioides (Vetiver), Neem Oil, Honeysuckle flower extract, Japanese Honeysuckle flower extract, guar hydroxyproplytrimonium chloride

Pros

  • nice amount of lather!
  • VERY moisturizing on my skin!!
  • Healing for my skin---especially since it's wintertime!
  • a little goes a long way--at least for me. The most I use is in between a dime and quarter size per one shower.
Cons
  • The smell--sometimes the smell kinda reminds me of freshly mowed grass which can sometimes irritate my allergies.
  • Limited availability---I can only get this from two places, which saddens me :( I'll be on the hunt for it in other stores
Would I repurchase?: Absolutely! I really do enjoy how this makes my skin feel  and am sad that I'm almost out :/  overall, I recommend this product!!

Thanks for reading and remember as always: Stay Beautiful!!

November Favorites

Hello, my loves! Welcome back & if you're new here, welcome! I can't believe that I'm here with my November beauty favorites!! Like the year is legit almost  done. 31 days left before 2018 makes its grand entry. I do have quite a bit this month, so if you're interested in learning all about my  favorites for November,  then just keep reading! SKIN/BODYCARE Eco Tools Konjac Cleansing Sponge : so great for helping spread my cleanser more evenly on my face versus using my hands or a rag! I've also noticed that it has helped my skin be a lot smoother, too! Shea Moisture Superfruit Complex Body Lotion : such a thick, hydrating lotion !! Only thing though is I would change the packaging--maybe opt for a jar instead of a bottle because it's thicker that a traditional lotion, but thinner than a body butter. Nip & Fab Kale Fix Protecting Shot : my skin has been more balanced lately since incorporating this oil!! Since it's colder, my skin tends t...

Hola, beautiful ones!! Welcome back & if you're new here, welcome! Once again, we've reached the end on yet another month, which means monthly favorites! Guys, we're officially 2/3 through 2018!! Crazy that just in 4 short months, it will be 2019!! Slow down, time!! Nonetheless, I have some really good stuff that I've been loving, so if you guys wanna know about my favorites for August, then just keep on  reading! Makeup Colourpop Element of Surprise palette : this is probably one of the most unique palettes I own! When I first saw it, I had no interest in picking it up, but when I saw it in Ulta & swatched the shade Rayon, (metallic dark coral with blue-green duochrome) I fell in love!! I never thought I'd love this palette, but I'm pleasantly surprised! Colourpop x KathleenLights Dream St. Palette :  another great option for a few pops of color + neutral shades! Unlike the Element of Surprise, this one is more a warm toned color scheme .  Also, I...
