My first Ipsy Bag: Street Style

Hello, beautiful people!!

Today, I'm coming to talk quickly about my very first Ipsy bag :) So in case you've never heard of it, Ipsy is a monthly beauty subscription founded by Youtuber Michelle Phan on the basis of  allowing others to finally figure out what beauty products are right for them. Ipsy offers its subscribers a mixture of  5 deluxe size samples and full sized beauty products from different companies (makeup, hair, skin, etc). and the best part??? It costs $10 a month....YES! Only 10 dollars. So, after researching and corresponding with my Youtube homegirl Danielle (shout to you, Miss Danielle!), I decided to take the plunge last month and subscribe. So I received the Street Style Glam bag in mid September and here's the 5 products that I received:

  • Mitchell & Peach Luxury Hand Cream
  • Nourish Organics Moisturizing Cream Face Cleanser
  • Hikari Lipstick in "Cabarnet"
  • Pacifica 7 Nail Polish in " Red Red Wine"
  • Be A Bombshell Smooth Criminal Powder
So far, I've used 3 out of the 5 products and I have to say, I'm impressed :] the hand cream packs a PUNCH of moisture--though the texture is super light, the nail polish lasted about 5 or so days with minimal chipping and the powder definitely helps with setting my makeup--though its a little messy to get out lol!

At some point, I will try out the other two and post reviews on them as soon as I can.

Thanks for reading and as always, Stay Beautiful!!

UPDATE: I have tried out the lipstick and alone, I dont think it looks too good on me :/ but im not gonna give up on it just yet! I may try adding concealer on my lips before applying the color or using a liner ro fill my lips in. We shall see! As for the cleanser, I plan on trying it out after my current cleanser runs out---which is soon--and reviewing it then!

Review: Nubian Heritage African Black Soap

Hello, all! Happy new year to everyone!! I came on to give my review on the second out of the three soaps I received from Nubian Heritage---the African Black Soap. Price: $4.99 on NH website and at the Vitamin Shoppe (5 oz size) Specs: This soap claims to be  acne-fighting,  detoxifying and healing.  Also, it was designed for people with   combination, oily, sensitive, and problem skin  , however it has been said that people with ALL skin types can use this as well :) but, back to the specs. Like I mentioned on my review on the Shea Butter soap , on the container is a brief history about how Nubian Heritage got its start and the ayurvedic properties about the key ingredients--which for this product line is shea butter, oats, aloe, palm ash, plaintain peel, tamarind extract and vitamin E. Palm Ash, Tamarind & Plantain Peel--soothing properties ; minimizes the appearance of superficial skin imperfections Oats--brightens and evens skin tone ...

November Favorites

Hello, my loves! Welcome back & if you're new here, welcome! I can't believe that I'm here with my November beauty favorites!! Like the year is legit almost  done. 31 days left before 2018 makes its grand entry. I do have quite a bit this month, so if you're interested in learning all about my  favorites for November,  then just keep reading! SKIN/BODYCARE Eco Tools Konjac Cleansing Sponge : so great for helping spread my cleanser more evenly on my face versus using my hands or a rag! I've also noticed that it has helped my skin be a lot smoother, too! Shea Moisture Superfruit Complex Body Lotion : such a thick, hydrating lotion !! Only thing though is I would change the packaging--maybe opt for a jar instead of a bottle because it's thicker that a traditional lotion, but thinner than a body butter. Nip & Fab Kale Fix Protecting Shot : my skin has been more balanced lately since incorporating this oil!! Since it's colder, my skin tends t...

Hola, beautiful ones!! Welcome back & if you're new here, welcome! Once again, we've reached the end on yet another month, which means monthly favorites! Guys, we're officially 2/3 through 2018!! Crazy that just in 4 short months, it will be 2019!! Slow down, time!! Nonetheless, I have some really good stuff that I've been loving, so if you guys wanna know about my favorites for August, then just keep on  reading! Makeup Colourpop Element of Surprise palette : this is probably one of the most unique palettes I own! When I first saw it, I had no interest in picking it up, but when I saw it in Ulta & swatched the shade Rayon, (metallic dark coral with blue-green duochrome) I fell in love!! I never thought I'd love this palette, but I'm pleasantly surprised! Colourpop x KathleenLights Dream St. Palette :  another great option for a few pops of color + neutral shades! Unlike the Element of Surprise, this one is more a warm toned color scheme .  Also, I...
