Hello, beauties! Welcome back & if you're new here, welcome! We have finally arrived with my monthly favorites for September! September is one of my favorite months because it means fall is officially upon us!! Although summer is nice, fall just gives me a completely different vibe that I 100% stand for! So, if you're interested in learning all about my September favorites, then just keep reading!
- Too Faced Hangover Good to Go Skin Protecting SPF 25 Moisturizer: I adore this moisturizer!! Sometimes, I'll use this as a priming moisturizer and go right into my makeup and I love how healthy my skin looks after!! It has also inspired me to bust back out the Hangover primer since it'll soon be cooling down.
- Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel Lotion SPF 30: another non irritating sunscreen without breaking the bank! It wears great under makeup since there's zero white residue!
- Wet N Wild Photofocus Rose Toner: super convenient with it being in a spray bottle, so I don't have to bust out my cotton pads all the time! I'll also sometimes on my chest or any dry patches for some extra hydration!
- Wet N Wild Photofocus Rose Multi use Oil: totally a good affordable alternative to the Korres Wild Rose oil! I love how soft and smooth my face feels, as well as my hands!
- Truly Organic Black Jelly Blemish Treatment Body Serum : another TJ Maxx find that stole my heart! this definitely has kept my chronic bouts of folliculitis at bay!! Whenever I get a flareup, I'll apply this to the area and within a couple days, they're totally gone!!
- The Ordinary Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG: when I tell you this is such a game changer, I STAND 1000000% for this! Working 12 hour nights in nursing can make me look and feel hella tired, but since using this, I look so much more awake and my dark circles have gone down a ton!
- Arm & Hammer Essenitals Deodorant: again, with being a nurse, I also can sweat a good bit with all my moving around. But I had been looking for an aluminum free deodorant that actually works since I was having some folliculitis flareups also in my underarms. and this has been my jam for the last couple months!! How I know it's the truth is when I took it to Mexico last month and it was super hot, but I stayed pretty dry all day!!
- Korres Greek Yoghurt Foaming Cream Cleanser: usually I'm not a fan of cream cleansers, but this one I love!! My skin has been more hydrated , softer and overall in better shape since using this!!
- IT Cosmetics Confidence in a Cleanser: such a gentle but effective cleanser!! I've reached the age range where I have to slowly integrate more anti aging into my skincare, because I know I won't be young forever. Since using this, I've noticed my skin is a lot softer and smoother overall!!
- COVERGIRL Ultra Fine Brow Pencil: very precise and nice for the hair like strokes I get, especially when outling my brows!
- Joah Beauty Precision Brow Pencil: this one's a little thicker, so I found myself using this for filling in my brow!
- Colourpop Brow Boss Gel: if you love feathery, full brows.......RUN , don't walk, RUN and grab this brow gel!! and it lasts all day long!! If I love their clear one this much, I can only imagine how well the colored one will be!
- Sephora Collection Ultra Shine Lip Gel--- Browny Touch: another gorgeous nude brown mauve gloss to add to my ever growing collection!! Plus, these aren't super sticky!
- Too Faced Sweet Peach Creamy Peach Oil Lip Gloss----Poppin' Peach: the creamiest lip gloss/oil I've ever used in my life!! It's really thin, but very pigmented!!
- Revlon Crystal Aura Glow Lip Oil----Pretty Wicked: a beautiful peach nude lip oil to add over top my lip liners or on its own for an everyday look!!
- Milk Makeup Kush Mascara: if you want thicker, fluttery lashes, you gotta grab this mascara!! I think I got a point perk of it from Sephora and since I've cracked it open, I've been hooked! I usually don't get excited about high end mascaras, but this one is creeping its way into my heart!
- MAC lip pencil----Chestnut: a staple in my lip liner collection! I've worn this with a full beat, minimal beat or no makeup at all, and it looks good with just about any lip color of on its own!! I was sleep on this liner for way too long, but I'm all the way woke about it now!
- Elf 16 hour Camo Concealer + Becca Aqua Luminous Perfecting Concealer: my new favorite concealer cocktail!! I love the coverage the ELF one gives me, but it can be a bit drying depending on the primer/foundation combo I use, so I'll use the Becca one for a little extra hydration and maneuverability when blending my concealer out!
- CoverGirl Vitalist Healthy Glow Highlighter: these are perfect for that lit from within glow!! Sometimes, I've worn this just on top of my moisturizer and a little powder & I looked really healthy and effortless!
- Kokie Powder Contour Palette---Deep/Dark: I'm shocked I love this as much as I do!! When first seeing it, I wasn't convinced. But one day, my bronzer was a bit too warm, so I used the bronzer shades in the palette to cool it down and it totally worked! Also, the brightening powders hold my concealer in place all day!
- Revlon Powder blush----Hot Cheeks : I used to hate Revlon's blush formula, but they since have revamped them and this color is everything and then some! It's a gorgeous rose berry with golden glitters that aren't insanely obnoxious on the cheek! Plus, it lasts most of the day!
- ELF Beautifully Bare #107 brush: my new favorite blush brush!! Usually, I'm all about my angled powder brushes for my blush, but lately I've grabbed this brush and it deposits just the right amount of blush to my cheeks!
- ULTA Precision Foundation brush: the perfect undereye bursh!! Aside for sweeping liquid foundation on, I blend out my concealer and apply my undereye setting powder with ease!! You could also use this for cream contour/bronzer as well! I usually grab one during one of Ulta's 21 days of beauty sales each year, and likely will snag another one or a couple!
- After The Dance----Fourplay/El DeBarge: originally done by the late great Marvin Gaye, I've actually loved this song for many years but never knew who sang it. Let's just say it's been on repeat ever since ❤💕💋
Well, that is all my favorites for September! Let me know: what are some of your favorites and non-favorites for September? I'd love to know!! As always , thanks for reading and Stay Beautiful!
