April Favorites

Hola, beautiful ones!! Welcome back & if you're new here, welcome! Once again, we've reached the end on yet another month!  I'm a teeny bit late, but April was a bit of a busy month for me. But, I've still managed to find a ton of good products to talk about. So, if you're interested in learning all about my  favorites for April, then just keep reading!
BODY/SKIN
MAKEUP
  • Wet n Wild Makeup Sponge, ELF Total Face Sponge & The Crayon Case Blending Sponge: these 3 sponges have been holding it down for me hard core!! They're all super soft,  squishy and cost under $5!! I will NEVER drop $20 on a beautyblender ever again in my life!
  • DuCare Highlight brush: I had been wanting to pick up the A23 from ABH for a while, but I couldn't spend the $25 for it. But when I had heard about this potential dupe on Youtube I knew I had to test it out!! OMGosh, this brush is amazing!! It applies my highlighter super smooth!
  • The Crayon Case Watch Me Blush eyeshadow palette: a bomb multi purpose palette for deeper skin tones!! I grabbed this so many times for bronzer, blush, eyeshadow and highlighter!! It's pretty pigmented, so be lighter handed with it!
  • Tony Moly Egg Pore Silky Smooth Balm & Measurable Difference Matte Primer: I chose to talk about these together because that's mostly how I use them!! The Tony Moly is an excellent pore filler with super creative packaging (kinda large, but creative), while the Measurable Difference controls my oil without making me feel dehydrated and crackly!
  • NYX Can't Stop, Won't Stop Foundation---"Deep Cool": one of the best matching foundations to date for me! It's not too red or orange or neutral, and my skin looks super flawless when I wear it!! Plus I'm all about a matte finish!
  • L'Oreal Infallible Fresh Wear Foundation--"535 Espresso": meet the updated Covergirl Healthy Elixir!! I was extremely disheartened to hear that foundation was getting discontinued, but had been hear some buzz about this foundation around the same time. Aside from the texture being more liquidy, it's identical to my Covergirl foundation that I love!! It's not heavy or thick nor uncomfortable to wear!
  • Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define concealer---C13: another em that I was super late getting hip to!! This concealer is the perfect medium coverage---not super watery but not drying at all!! Plus the price and shade range also work in my favor!
  • Kat Von D Lock It Concealer---Deep 36: I ought to kick myself for not using this sooner! I don't usually go for thicker tube concealers because they crease, but this one does not at all!! and it covers EVERYTHING!!
  • CoverGirl Full Spectrum Gloss Idol----"Snatched": this gloss literally snatched my soul and edges 😂 it's the best nude mauve brown for darker kin tones that can be worn for everyday or to up the ante a little!!
  • I Heart Revolution I Heart Chocolate lip gloss---"Mint Chocolate": if you missed out on NYX Intense Butter Gloss in Cinnamon Roll like I stupidly did, meet its affordable twin!! I have not been able to put this gloss down all month---from work to church to running errands this gloss come through for me everytime! I often top it over a chocolate brown liner, but it's a stunning color!!
  • Lock Color Lock in Velvet Lip----"Cinnamon": a stunning warm rosy orange shade that is crazy comfortable on the lips!! The formula is a lot like the Ultra Satin Lips from Colourpop, just a bit thinner and lighter. I wish I could find this brand again because I'd love to check out more things!
  • Morphe Continuous Setting Mist: people have hyped this up and for good reason!! It melts all your product together and leaves you with a soft lit from within glow!
HAIR
  • Creme of Nature Argan Buttermilk: Creme of Nature has come with yet another banger for my curly hair! It's a thick lotion that hydrates my hair for days!! I'm talking between 4-6 days, which is huge for me (usually by day 3, my hair is thirsty lol). Definitely one of my top natural hair brands!
  • Jane Carter Nourish and Shine: I wanted to try this for so long, but never wanted to pay the full $20 price. But I got lucky and caught it on sale, and have been using it nonstop since!! I love the floral, earthy scent and how shiny it leaves my hair!! Plus, it's multipurpose so you can use it on the body too!
  • Satin Scrunchies: these have helped my hair a ton with length retention and decreased breakage!! I heard about satin scrunchies for years, but never could find them until recently in TJ Maxx, Marshalls and Amazon. They come in all different colors, also! I don't think I'll really use any other hair ties again on my hair!
MISCELLANEOUS
  • Shanice -- "Turn Down the Lights": add this to my neverending arsenal of old school romantic jams!!
  • Kevin Ross: as stated many a times, I'm an old school lover to the core and don't mess with too many artists that are newer because they suck lol. But this guy....I don't have a single word to describe how talented he is! Just about every cover or original song he does, I fall in love with ❤ best believe he'll be in my rotation for quite a while!! [I linked my current favorite song by him, but literally all his material is phenomenal!]
  • Emily Blossoms: I've been so obsessed with her channel and content!! She's a smaller Youtuber, but I love how realistic and down to earth she is and deserves so much more support!!
Well, that is all my favorites for April!  Let me know: what are some of your April  favorites and non-favorites? I'd love to know!! As always , thanks for reading and Stay Beautiful!!

Review: Nubian Heritage African Black Soap

Hello, all! Happy new year to everyone!! I came on to give my review on the second out of the three soaps I received from Nubian Heritage---the African Black Soap. Price: $4.99 on NH website and at the Vitamin Shoppe (5 oz size) Specs: This soap claims to be  acne-fighting,  detoxifying and healing.  Also, it was designed for people with   combination, oily, sensitive, and problem skin  , however it has been said that people with ALL skin types can use this as well :) but, back to the specs. Like I mentioned on my review on the Shea Butter soap , on the container is a brief history about how Nubian Heritage got its start and the ayurvedic properties about the key ingredients--which for this product line is shea butter, oats, aloe, palm ash, plaintain peel, tamarind extract and vitamin E. Palm Ash, Tamarind & Plantain Peel--soothing properties ; minimizes the appearance of superficial skin imperfections Oats--brightens and evens skin tone ...

November Favorites

Hello, my loves! Welcome back & if you're new here, welcome! I can't believe that I'm here with my November beauty favorites!! Like the year is legit almost  done. 31 days left before 2018 makes its grand entry. I do have quite a bit this month, so if you're interested in learning all about my  favorites for November,  then just keep reading! SKIN/BODYCARE Eco Tools Konjac Cleansing Sponge : so great for helping spread my cleanser more evenly on my face versus using my hands or a rag! I've also noticed that it has helped my skin be a lot smoother, too! Shea Moisture Superfruit Complex Body Lotion : such a thick, hydrating lotion !! Only thing though is I would change the packaging--maybe opt for a jar instead of a bottle because it's thicker that a traditional lotion, but thinner than a body butter. Nip & Fab Kale Fix Protecting Shot : my skin has been more balanced lately since incorporating this oil!! Since it's colder, my skin tends t...

Hola, beautiful ones!! Welcome back & if you're new here, welcome! Once again, we've reached the end on yet another month, which means monthly favorites! Guys, we're officially 2/3 through 2018!! Crazy that just in 4 short months, it will be 2019!! Slow down, time!! Nonetheless, I have some really good stuff that I've been loving, so if you guys wanna know about my favorites for August, then just keep on  reading! Makeup Colourpop Element of Surprise palette : this is probably one of the most unique palettes I own! When I first saw it, I had no interest in picking it up, but when I saw it in Ulta & swatched the shade Rayon, (metallic dark coral with blue-green duochrome) I fell in love!! I never thought I'd love this palette, but I'm pleasantly surprised! Colourpop x KathleenLights Dream St. Palette :  another great option for a few pops of color + neutral shades! Unlike the Element of Surprise, this one is more a warm toned color scheme .  Also, I...
