Top 5 Elf Brushes

Hey, beauty lovers!

I know, I've been gone for a long time, but hopefully I'll be back into the swing of things soon! But, back to the post itself. Today's post is a collab with my girl Sam (@makeupinmontana on Instagram). Both she and I are some hardcore fans of ELF Cosmetics. Now in case you haven't heard of them, Elf is one of the most affordable brands of beauty on the market, yet still maintians a great level of quality within their products. From the eyeshadows to blushes to to skincare, Elf is definitely budget friendly--most products cost anywhere between $1-10.

Though there are so many favorite things that we could probably talk about forever on end, today Sam and I are raving about our top 5 brushes from Elf! So, if you're interested in learning about my top 5, just keep scrolling on down!

1)Ultimate Blending Brush ($6)---I am obsessed with this baby!! The dome shape is awesome for blending in my liquid foundation and my concealer! Plus, its SOOOOOOOO soft!

2) Powder Brush ($3)-----this guy is amazing for blemding in liquid foundation , as well as packing on my powder! It gives you a nice flawless finish that makes you look airbrushed and HD, even on a regular day. I suppose it's high time that I finally replace this one, but at $3 a pop, you can't go wrong!

3)Eyeshadow Brush ($1)----this brush is dense enough to really pack on the shadow, but soft enough to blend it out with ease! I love using this on the lid as well as for a nice browbone highlighter!

4)Defining Eye Brush ($1)---the slight angular shape of this little guy makes it perfect for building up a darker shadow on the outer V , deepening the crease and smoking out the lower lashline in no time flat! For only being a dollar, it does wonders!

And last but certainly not least, 5)Angled Blush Brush ($3)---as you can see, the nice angled head makes this brush perfect for adding just the right amount of blush to the cheek. Aside from that, it's amazing for adding highlighter, bronzing and contouring. I personally just got into the while bronzing/contouring trend a few months ago , and thanks to this brush, it's been pretty amazing!

Well, that wraps it up for this post! Hopefully, you guys find some good brushes to try out for themselves! Before you go, be sure to check out Sam's blog and follow us both on Instagram!

Review: Nubian Heritage African Black Soap

Hello, all! Happy new year to everyone!! I came on to give my review on the second out of the three soaps I received from Nubian Heritage---the African Black Soap. Price: $4.99 on NH website and at the Vitamin Shoppe (5 oz size) Specs: This soap claims to be  acne-fighting,  detoxifying and healing.  Also, it was designed for people with   combination, oily, sensitive, and problem skin  , however it has been said that people with ALL skin types can use this as well :) but, back to the specs. Like I mentioned on my review on the Shea Butter soap , on the container is a brief history about how Nubian Heritage got its start and the ayurvedic properties about the key ingredients--which for this product line is shea butter, oats, aloe, palm ash, plaintain peel, tamarind extract and vitamin E. Palm Ash, Tamarind & Plantain Peel--soothing properties ; minimizes the appearance of superficial skin imperfections Oats--brightens and evens skin tone ...

November Favorites

Hello, my loves! Welcome back & if you're new here, welcome! I can't believe that I'm here with my November beauty favorites!! Like the year is legit almost  done. 31 days left before 2018 makes its grand entry. I do have quite a bit this month, so if you're interested in learning all about my  favorites for November,  then just keep reading! SKIN/BODYCARE Eco Tools Konjac Cleansing Sponge : so great for helping spread my cleanser more evenly on my face versus using my hands or a rag! I've also noticed that it has helped my skin be a lot smoother, too! Shea Moisture Superfruit Complex Body Lotion : such a thick, hydrating lotion !! Only thing though is I would change the packaging--maybe opt for a jar instead of a bottle because it's thicker that a traditional lotion, but thinner than a body butter. Nip & Fab Kale Fix Protecting Shot : my skin has been more balanced lately since incorporating this oil!! Since it's colder, my skin tends t...

August Favorites 2018.

Hola, beautiful ones!! Welcome back & if you're new here, welcome! Once again, we've reached the end on yet another month, which means monthly favorites! Guys, we're officially 2/3 through 2018!! Crazy that just in 4 short months, it will be 2019!! Slow down, time!! Nonetheless, I have some really good stuff that I've been loving, so if you guys wanna know about my favorites for August, then just keep on  reading! Makeup Colourpop Element of Surprise palette : this is probably one of the most unique palettes I own! When I first saw it, I had no interest in picking it up, but when I saw it in Ulta & swatched the shade Rayon, (metallic dark coral with blue-green duochrome) I fell in love!! I never thought I'd love this palette, but I'm pleasantly surprised! Colourpop x KathleenLights Dream St. Palette :  another great option for a few pops of color + neutral shades! Unlike the Element of Surprise, this one is more a warm toned color scheme .  Also, I...
