November Empties

Hello dears! Today, I'm coming to talk about my empties for the month of November! I have quite a few things I've used up, so let me just jump right in and get started!

  • The Body Shop Blueberry Body Scrub Gelee: this scrub was just ok. It didn't wow me  or anything spectacular for me. Plus, it was a pain to clean out the tub when I used it. Probably not gonna repurchase.
  • Dial Naturals Moisturizing Body Wash--Tangerine &Guava: absolutely love this body wash! I've been really feeling the Dial brand for my body care lately , so this really has me interested in trying out more of their body stuff once I get through my body items. Would definitely repurchase!
  • B&BW Honolulu Sun Gentle Foaming Hand Soap: this soap was amazing!  My hands felt so soft each use and the smell would just linger for hours!! Will definitely repurchase if they bring it back.
  • It Cosmetics Brow Power pencil in Universal Taupe: the pencil itself honestly sucked. It was way too dry to apply and I had to really apply pressure to it to work. I've found drugstore pencils that work better, so this is not a rebuy for me.
  • Marina & Demme Super Berries Deep Cleansing Facial Wipes: these were nothing to write home about, but they got the job done for removing makeup or cleaning my face when I felt kinda lazy. Maybe a repurchase.
  • L'oreal Youth Code Texture Perfector Serum Concentrate: I am a total fan on this!! Like many of my beauty items , I heard this talked about like crazy on Youtube and after months of debating, I finally decided to take the plunge and try it. I'm so glad I did! It isn't an instant transformation , but I did notice a difference in the evenness of my skin. Already repurchased!!
  • Elf Daily Brush Cleaner: this was perfect for my eye brushes and small face brushes. For my larger brushes, not so much. I had to practically soak them every time, plus I found something in a larger size that works just as good. I might rebuy this for my small brushes ,but not my large brushes .
  • Noxzema Premium Pivot Twin blade razors: I've reviewed these before so I won't drone on too much about them . Simply put, I like them and have already repurchased.
  • Sheild Eyeglasses Lens Cleaner: got my lenses pretty spotless.  Would repurchase.
  • Eau Thermale Avene Soothing moisture mask: it was not anything to write home about. Probably not  a repurchase.
  • Dial 7 Day Moisturizing lotion----Skin Therapy: this is honesty my holy grail lotion!! My skin has not been so moisturized like this  in quite some time!! Already repurchased !!
  • Rite Aid brand 4 pk. Clean+ toothbrushes: nothing to write home about, but they did do the job. I'm not super picky about toothbrushes , so I would buy these again possibly.
  • Carol's Daughter Black Vanilla Leave in Conditioner:  spray leave ins have been tricky on my hair--they go on great, but make my hair feel drier once it absorbs.  But not this one. Maybe because it's all natural,  who knows?? But I did enjoy this, especially when my hair was braided up. I would rebuy this.
  • B&BW Wallflower refill in Flannel: oh did I love this scent!! It was perfect for fall time,  since it smelled very musky and warm. Already repurchased!!
  • Moisture Balance Styling Custard: this I did like a lot!! It did a great job at defining my hair and keeping it intact!! I would repurchase this again.
  • Shea Moisture Curl and Shine Shampoo:  this was just ok on my hair , but amazing for cleaning my brushes!! I would totally get it again for that alone!!
  • Aquafina Hydrating Lip oil: this was actually pretty nice! It kept my lips fairly moisturized and soft ,and I didn't have to reapply a bunch of times.  However,  I did find something that works a bit better, so I'm not going to repurchase this.
Whew, we've finally reached the end!!  Hopefully you've found some good products within this list to try out for yourselves! Thanks for reading, and like always, Stay Beautiful

  1. I've been eyeballing Carol's Daughter for the longest, but I just never got over the price. Now I have to try that conditioner!

Review: Nubian Heritage African Black Soap

Hello, all! Happy new year to everyone!! I came on to give my review on the second out of the three soaps I received from Nubian Heritage---the African Black Soap. Price: $4.99 on NH website and at the Vitamin Shoppe (5 oz size) Specs: This soap claims to be  acne-fighting,  detoxifying and healing.  Also, it was designed for people with   combination, oily, sensitive, and problem skin  , however it has been said that people with ALL skin types can use this as well :) but, back to the specs. Like I mentioned on my review on the Shea Butter soap , on the container is a brief history about how Nubian Heritage got its start and the ayurvedic properties about the key ingredients--which for this product line is shea butter, oats, aloe, palm ash, plaintain peel, tamarind extract and vitamin E. Palm Ash, Tamarind & Plantain Peel--soothing properties ; minimizes the appearance of superficial skin imperfections Oats--brightens and evens skin tone ...

November Favorites

Hello, my loves! Welcome back & if you're new here, welcome! I can't believe that I'm here with my November beauty favorites!! Like the year is legit almost  done. 31 days left before 2018 makes its grand entry. I do have quite a bit this month, so if you're interested in learning all about my  favorites for November,  then just keep reading! SKIN/BODYCARE Eco Tools Konjac Cleansing Sponge : so great for helping spread my cleanser more evenly on my face versus using my hands or a rag! I've also noticed that it has helped my skin be a lot smoother, too! Shea Moisture Superfruit Complex Body Lotion : such a thick, hydrating lotion !! Only thing though is I would change the packaging--maybe opt for a jar instead of a bottle because it's thicker that a traditional lotion, but thinner than a body butter. Nip & Fab Kale Fix Protecting Shot : my skin has been more balanced lately since incorporating this oil!! Since it's colder, my skin tends t...

August Favorites 2018.

Hola, beautiful ones!! Welcome back & if you're new here, welcome! Once again, we've reached the end on yet another month, which means monthly favorites! Guys, we're officially 2/3 through 2018!! Crazy that just in 4 short months, it will be 2019!! Slow down, time!! Nonetheless, I have some really good stuff that I've been loving, so if you guys wanna know about my favorites for August, then just keep on  reading! Makeup Colourpop Element of Surprise palette : this is probably one of the most unique palettes I own! When I first saw it, I had no interest in picking it up, but when I saw it in Ulta & swatched the shade Rayon, (metallic dark coral with blue-green duochrome) I fell in love!! I never thought I'd love this palette, but I'm pleasantly surprised! Colourpop x KathleenLights Dream St. Palette :  another great option for a few pops of color + neutral shades! Unlike the Element of Surprise, this one is more a warm toned color scheme .  Also, I...
