June Empties

Hey, all!! Long time no speak. So ,I'm finally coming to do my empties for June and as you'll see, I've used up quite a bit of stuff altogether. So, without any more delay, let's get rolling!!

Sof'n'Free Nothing But Intense Healing Mask: it was an OK mask, but nothing super stellar.  I always had to add something to it to give it some oomph.  Wouldn't rebuy most likely.

Assured 100% Pure Cotton Rounds: amazing!! Already repurchased.

Sweet Pink perfume from Dots: Nice fragrance, but my bottle leaked all the time!! Would not repurchase probably.

Spring Valley Biotin supplement (10,000 mcg plus Keratin): these worked SO much better than the other biotin supplements I tried!! Would repurchase.

Nourish Organic Replenishing Argan Oil with Pomegranate and Rosehip: very nice oil on my straightened hair, but had to use a bit more on my curly hair. Would repurchase but only use on my straightened hair.

Figs and Rouge hand cream: very silky on my hands, but I found drugstore lotions that are just as good , if not better. Probably not a repurchase.

Organix Acai Berry and Avocado conditioner: a nice smelling product, but I felt I had to use quite a bit to get my hair softened how I wanted. Though it's on the thicker side in consistency , it didn't do too much for me. Probably not repurchasing .

Sally Hansen Continuous nail treatment (Growth and Strength): the Growth treatment was pretty good, but the Strength one was not so much. I have found something that works even better, so probably not repurchasing either.

Equate 24 hour Allergy Relief tablets: these didn't work for me at ALL. Definitely not repurchasing!

Extra gum in Polar Ice: the BEST minty gum EVERRRRRRRR!! Repurchasing forever and everrrrrr.

Giovanni Direct Leave in Weightless Moisture conditioner : this did moisturize my hair nicely, but it doesn't last as long as I would like. I would have to use something heavier to keep that moisture in my hair , but I did like it. I would probably repurchase.

Equate Sensitive Skin Feminine Wash : nice wash for "down there", especially if one has sensitivities to scented things. Would repurchase!!

Motions Nourish Leave in conditioner: it was moisturizing when I first apply, but as it dried, my hair felt more dried out..most likely, I won't repurchase.

Aunt Jackie's Oh So Clean! Shampoo: this is seriously one of the best shampoos I EVER used!! It gets my hair clean without stripping my curls! Absolutely would repurchase!!

ELF  Makeup Mist and Set Spray:  one of my faves!! To me, it's best as a hydrating spray and not so much a setting spray, but I still like it! Already repurchased.

Well, I believe that'll do it for now. Stay tuned for my next empties post!! Thank you all so much for reading and like always, Stay Beautiful!

Review: Nubian Heritage African Black Soap

Hello, all! Happy new year to everyone!! I came on to give my review on the second out of the three soaps I received from Nubian Heritage---the African Black Soap. Price: $4.99 on NH website and at the Vitamin Shoppe (5 oz size) Specs: This soap claims to be  acne-fighting,  detoxifying and healing.  Also, it was designed for people with   combination, oily, sensitive, and problem skin  , however it has been said that people with ALL skin types can use this as well :) but, back to the specs. Like I mentioned on my review on the Shea Butter soap , on the container is a brief history about how Nubian Heritage got its start and the ayurvedic properties about the key ingredients--which for this product line is shea butter, oats, aloe, palm ash, plaintain peel, tamarind extract and vitamin E. Palm Ash, Tamarind & Plantain Peel--soothing properties ; minimizes the appearance of superficial skin imperfections Oats--brightens and evens skin tone ...

November Favorites

Hello, my loves! Welcome back & if you're new here, welcome! I can't believe that I'm here with my November beauty favorites!! Like the year is legit almost  done. 31 days left before 2018 makes its grand entry. I do have quite a bit this month, so if you're interested in learning all about my  favorites for November,  then just keep reading! SKIN/BODYCARE Eco Tools Konjac Cleansing Sponge : so great for helping spread my cleanser more evenly on my face versus using my hands or a rag! I've also noticed that it has helped my skin be a lot smoother, too! Shea Moisture Superfruit Complex Body Lotion : such a thick, hydrating lotion !! Only thing though is I would change the packaging--maybe opt for a jar instead of a bottle because it's thicker that a traditional lotion, but thinner than a body butter. Nip & Fab Kale Fix Protecting Shot : my skin has been more balanced lately since incorporating this oil!! Since it's colder, my skin tends t...

August Favorites 2018.

Hola, beautiful ones!! Welcome back & if you're new here, welcome! Once again, we've reached the end on yet another month, which means monthly favorites! Guys, we're officially 2/3 through 2018!! Crazy that just in 4 short months, it will be 2019!! Slow down, time!! Nonetheless, I have some really good stuff that I've been loving, so if you guys wanna know about my favorites for August, then just keep on  reading! Makeup Colourpop Element of Surprise palette : this is probably one of the most unique palettes I own! When I first saw it, I had no interest in picking it up, but when I saw it in Ulta & swatched the shade Rayon, (metallic dark coral with blue-green duochrome) I fell in love!! I never thought I'd love this palette, but I'm pleasantly surprised! Colourpop x KathleenLights Dream St. Palette :  another great option for a few pops of color + neutral shades! Unlike the Element of Surprise, this one is more a warm toned color scheme .  Also, I...
