March Favorites

Hello all!! I know---I've been gone from blogging for a while, but I'm back!! I'm coming with my favorites for the month of March --which is also my birthday month--#JordanStatus!
So, without any further holdup, let's get started!!

  • Ulta Super Stretch Fiber Mascara in "Jet Black"---- For as long as I can remember,  I've had a love/hate relationship with mascara.  Some flake on me, others make my eyes feel itchy, others take way too long to dry. But this one???? PERFECTION. It enhances my lashes so well without irritating my eyes, as well as dries fairly quickly.
  • Nourish Organics Replenishing Argan Oil---- I've been really loving this oil!! I actually started using it in December, but it definitely delivers! Primariliy, I use it on my hair since I'm currently wearing it straight in the winter [once it warms up again, I'll go back to wearing my hair in its natural state] , but this oil has saved my hair a TON! It is a little on the pricey side--about $20 for 3.4 oz--but I believe that you can get a different brand of argan oil from Walmart for like 8 bucks for 2 oz. Maybe I'll purchase it  and do a comparison of the two..who knows???
  • Taha African Shea Butter----who HASN'T heard of shea butter?? I'm pretty sure many of you have, but I didn't really dabble in using it until the winter months. I've yet to use it on my hair, but I LOVE it on my skin!! My skin has been acting crazy for some reason, from rashes to itchiness to excess dryness......you name it. But raw shea butter has been a life saver for me and a little definitely goes a long way!!!Aside from skin, shea butter can be used for so many different things from curing diaper rashes to healing cuts to reducing pain/swelling to correcting dark spots.  Luckily, my local beauty supply stores sells it, so I paid a little less than $6 for 16 oz. That to me is a steal, since it costs much more for less in other stores and online. I will warn you, however, do not overdo it!! It's pretty greasy if you use too much.
  • Wet n' Wild Mega Eyes Creme Eyeliner in "Black"----this has been my go to eyeliner for some time, especially last month. It gives my eyes instant drama, is inexpensive and stays put until I wash it off!! It's the BEST!!
  • Oyin Handmade Burnt Sugar Pomade---this stuff right here is LIFE!! It does an amazing job of sealing my hair whenever I twist it or braid it up, keeping my baby hairs soft and it smells like breakfast!! What more could you ask for?? My sister also loves it, mainly for the smell, so she was beyond excited that I purchased one for her to use! *S/o to DiscoveringNatural for gifting this to me!*
  • Aunt Jackie's Oh SO Clean Moisturizing and Softening Shampoo--Since going back natural over 2 years ago, finding a good shampoo to clean my hair with is kinda tough. But I think I have a gem on my hands with this one :) I purchased it sometime last year but didn't really start using it for real till about early February. OMG why did I wait so long to use it?? It's one of the best shampoos I have used! It cleans my hair amazingly without stripping it of its natural oils and it doesn't cost a hand for it. One con I do have about this shampoo would be the size. Honestly, I wish it was a tad bit bigger because to me, it's kinda on the small side.  I meant to put in Febraury's faves, but forgot to lol, so I stuck in in March's faves.
  • Secret pH Balanced deodorant: I completely forgot how much I love this deodorant!!  I started using it back in high school, and I still have yet to find another deodorant that delivers like this one!! This is a little gross, but I have a small issue with getting wet spots in the armpit of my shirts because of my deodorant not lasting.  I don't experience that with this one, and it's wonderful!!

Well, I believe that'll do it for now. Stay tuned for my next favorites post!! Thank you all so much for reading and like always, Stay Beautiful!

Review: Nubian Heritage African Black Soap

Hello, all! Happy new year to everyone!! I came on to give my review on the second out of the three soaps I received from Nubian Heritage---the African Black Soap. Price: $4.99 on NH website and at the Vitamin Shoppe (5 oz size) Specs: This soap claims to be  acne-fighting,  detoxifying and healing.  Also, it was designed for people with   combination, oily, sensitive, and problem skin  , however it has been said that people with ALL skin types can use this as well :) but, back to the specs. Like I mentioned on my review on the Shea Butter soap , on the container is a brief history about how Nubian Heritage got its start and the ayurvedic properties about the key ingredients--which for this product line is shea butter, oats, aloe, palm ash, plaintain peel, tamarind extract and vitamin E. Palm Ash, Tamarind & Plantain Peel--soothing properties ; minimizes the appearance of superficial skin imperfections Oats--brightens and evens skin tone ...

November Favorites

Hello, my loves! Welcome back & if you're new here, welcome! I can't believe that I'm here with my November beauty favorites!! Like the year is legit almost  done. 31 days left before 2018 makes its grand entry. I do have quite a bit this month, so if you're interested in learning all about my  favorites for November,  then just keep reading! SKIN/BODYCARE Eco Tools Konjac Cleansing Sponge : so great for helping spread my cleanser more evenly on my face versus using my hands or a rag! I've also noticed that it has helped my skin be a lot smoother, too! Shea Moisture Superfruit Complex Body Lotion : such a thick, hydrating lotion !! Only thing though is I would change the packaging--maybe opt for a jar instead of a bottle because it's thicker that a traditional lotion, but thinner than a body butter. Nip & Fab Kale Fix Protecting Shot : my skin has been more balanced lately since incorporating this oil!! Since it's colder, my skin tends t...

Hola, beautiful ones!! Welcome back & if you're new here, welcome! Once again, we've reached the end on yet another month, which means monthly favorites! Guys, we're officially 2/3 through 2018!! Nonetheless, I have some really good stuff that I've been loving, so if you guys wanna know about my favorites for August, then just keep on  reading! Makeup Colourpop Element of Surprise palette : this is probably one of the most unique palettes I own! When I first saw it, I had no interest in picking it up, but when I saw it in Ulta & swatched the shade Rayon, (metallic dark coral with blue-green duochrome) I fell in love!! I never thought I'd love this palette, but I'm pleasantly surprised! Colourpop x KathleenLights Dream St. Palette :  another great option for a few pops of color + neutral shades! Unlike the Element of Surprise, this one is more a warm toned color scheme .  Also, I...
