Flawless Feature: Victoria Blankenship

Hey, hey, hey guys!! Guess what time it is??? If you guessed "Flawless Feature" time, you'd be right indeed! Like always, before I jump into a new episode, I like to give my readers time to catch up on the previous one with ShannonCBeauty, which was also the debut!

Now that I've gotten that out the way, say hello to this episode's special guest, Victoria Blankenship!! Also liking to go by Tori, this almost 17 year old beauty is a self-proclaimed makeup addict that enjoys doing others' makeup. Tori hopes that one day, she will become famous for her blog/Instagram/becoming a MUA
:)

Now it's interview time!!! Take it away, Tori:
1) When did you start becoming interested in makeup? Why?
I first started become interested in makeup in 7th and 8th grade because I was being bullied and I wanted something to make me feel beautiful so I turned to makeup but I no longer need makeup to make me feel beautiful. I collect makeup and continue to do others makeup because I simply became obsessed.

2) What is your favorite brand of makeup?
My favorite brand is probably benefit! I love the cute package and the products are amazing!

3) What is the most expensive makeup item (s) you own?
I think the most expensive thing I own is all my UD palettes!

4) what is your go-to makeup look?
I'd have to say a neutral smoky eye with a super fun color lip!

5) what is one makeup item you own that you cannot live without?
Benefit porefessional!

6) what is one makeup item you own that did not meet your standards?
Mac's blush in pinch'o peach was the first blush I ever tried and i found it in my collection and tried it on again and the pigmentation just wasn't what I expected out a Mac blush.

7) words of advice for anyone that wanted to get into makeup wearing or artistry??
Stay true to who you are, and don't let other people tell you that you can't do something because you always can. It may take a lot of hard work but you can do it!

8)Any social media links other makeup lovers can find you on ??
I soon will be getting a beauty twitter and email...but you can follow my personal Instagram @victoriiaaax3 :)

Review: Nubian Heritage African Black Soap

Hello, all! Happy new year to everyone!! I came on to give my review on the second out of the three soaps I received from Nubian Heritage---the African Black Soap. Price: $4.99 on NH website and at the Vitamin Shoppe (5 oz size) Specs: This soap claims to be  acne-fighting,  detoxifying and healing.  Also, it was designed for people with   combination, oily, sensitive, and problem skin  , however it has been said that people with ALL skin types can use this as well :) but, back to the specs. Like I mentioned on my review on the Shea Butter soap , on the container is a brief history about how Nubian Heritage got its start and the ayurvedic properties about the key ingredients--which for this product line is shea butter, oats, aloe, palm ash, plaintain peel, tamarind extract and vitamin E. Palm Ash, Tamarind & Plantain Peel--soothing properties ; minimizes the appearance of superficial skin imperfections Oats--brightens and evens skin tone ...

November Favorites

Hello, my loves! Welcome back & if you're new here, welcome! I can't believe that I'm here with my November beauty favorites!! Like the year is legit almost  done. 31 days left before 2018 makes its grand entry. I do have quite a bit this month, so if you're interested in learning all about my  favorites for November,  then just keep reading! SKIN/BODYCARE Eco Tools Konjac Cleansing Sponge : so great for helping spread my cleanser more evenly on my face versus using my hands or a rag! I've also noticed that it has helped my skin be a lot smoother, too! Shea Moisture Superfruit Complex Body Lotion : such a thick, hydrating lotion !! Only thing though is I would change the packaging--maybe opt for a jar instead of a bottle because it's thicker that a traditional lotion, but thinner than a body butter. Nip & Fab Kale Fix Protecting Shot : my skin has been more balanced lately since incorporating this oil!! Since it's colder, my skin tends t...

August Favorites 2018.

Hola, beautiful ones!! Welcome back & if you're new here, welcome! Once again, we've reached the end on yet another month, which means monthly favorites! Guys, we're officially 2/3 through 2018!! Crazy that just in 4 short months, it will be 2019!! Slow down, time!! Nonetheless, I have some really good stuff that I've been loving, so if you guys wanna know about my favorites for August, then just keep on  reading! Makeup Colourpop Element of Surprise palette : this is probably one of the most unique palettes I own! When I first saw it, I had no interest in picking it up, but when I saw it in Ulta & swatched the shade Rayon, (metallic dark coral with blue-green duochrome) I fell in love!! I never thought I'd love this palette, but I'm pleasantly surprised! Colourpop x KathleenLights Dream St. Palette :  another great option for a few pops of color + neutral shades! Unlike the Element of Surprise, this one is more a warm toned color scheme .  Also, I...
